You asked me about Japanese straightening months ago, and I just now saw it :(
Um I live in ny. There's a couple of places to get it done here. About it: its a long process. I think I went in at 8 got out at 2? They put stuff in your hair wash it out, straighten your hair little piece by piece, put more stuff in your hair, wash it out, and straighten it again. The hair that's straightened will forever be straightened. But you will have to go back to get your roots done. I go twice a year. My hair is healthier, grows faster (maybe cause it doesn't break as often now), and more manageable with the Japanese straightening. :) hope I helped.
