Beauty Product Reviews
Pigmented, Blendable, Vibrant Shades!
This product is fantastic! SO many different uses for this (nail polish, lipgloss, eye color). The pigmentation is impeccable, and all six shades have some sort of a duochrome or glitter to them. The shades are coral, pink, two dark purples, turquoise, and a teal. The teal and the two purples have green, gray, and blue duochrome shimmer in them that looks phenomenal when packed all over the eyelid or placed on just the center to give a pop of color.
These are the only pigments/shadows I have found to last all day and still remain just as vibrant at the end of the day as they were at the beginning. They do not crease, and the shimmer will stay there, and in my experience, I have had no staining of my eyelids.
To apply, I use a flat, synthetic concealer brush to dip into the product. I then spray a bit of water from a spray bottle onto a metal mixing palette and mix the product together. I use the same concealer brush to apply the product to my eyelid. I would not recommend using these as blending/crease colors as they will fall out all over the place if not used wet. They are best as eyelid colors, if nothing else.
Best waterproof formula out there!
This product is great in both formulas, but I prefer the waterproof because I live in sunny California and am always either sweating or near water of sometime. This is the only mascara that is 100% waterproof and doesn't come off unless you want it to. You may need a makeup remover that specializes in waterproof mascara (may I suggest Sonia Kashuk from Target), but with a little time, it will surely come off. I always buy my mascara in the blackest color they have, and this one is just as black as any mascara. It volumizes, separates, and lengthens my lashes more than any other mascara I've ever tried. Truly the best mascara in the universe!
Buildable, Silky-Smooth, Blendable, Natural Liquid Foundation!
This product trumps out all other products in my makeup collection. I am a hoarder of drugstore foundations, as I have had good luck with them in the past and don't really see the need to buy a higher end one. Although I do have problematic skin (breakouts, acne scarring, redness), I still prefer to use lighter formulas as they do not clog my pores and cause more issues. That being said, this foundation is buildable, which I love because it gives the option of wearing full instead of medium coverage.
Upon application, the foundation dries in a decent amount of time. It doesn't dry so quickly that I don't have a chance to fully blend it in, but it doesn't stay wet for an eternity either. The packaging is quite annoying, since there is no pump. I just pour some onto the back of my hand or onto a metal mixing palette and go from there. To apply this, I use a flat top buffing brush to give fuller coverage or a Beauty Blender sponge to give me a more natural look. It covers my acne without concealer, and I only need to add an additional layer around my nose due to my redness. It lasts about 8 hours with a setting powder (I use Rimmel Stay Matte in Translucent), and that works fine for my purposes. When this foundation fades, it doesn't get splotchy, but fades evenly across the face.
The pros of this foundation are that it contains SPF, wears for a decent amount of time, and is buildable. The only con I can think of is the packaging because it can be messy and hard to control the amount of product that comes out.
