It’s not you it’s me

I ordered this with my last purchase of farmacy products. I love most everything I’ve used by them. I was hoping to work a night serum into my routine, as I am getting to know my skin type and thought this would work wonders for it. However I’m not sure if it’s my skin type, an allergy, not using the product correctly, or just that my skin has become more sensitive in recent years. The tingling that people describe, for me quickly turns into a strong burning sensation, like a bad sunburn. My face turns bright red and hot. While trying to not loose hope on this product, I tried it a handful of times, with varying degrees of the same effect. I truly wish this worked for my skin, and I would love to know if anyone else has had this happen with either this product or another AHA/BHA serum. I would love to find another product to replace this one in my routine but am worried about the results. I can’t find much out there about what could be causing this reaction and was hoping someone from the Beautylish community might have some insight!
