Take your time and be gentle ~

Seriously, just slow down and stop stabbing your pallets. I love this pallet, the color story works for me, the shadows are so soft and She is Pigmented! I am disappointed with the brush that is included, however. I don’t own any Anastasia BH brushes (besides the ones that come with the pallets) and even though I feel like it’s pretty common knowledge that the brushes that come with any pallet of any brand aren’t ever the highest of quality, I was at least hoping it would be softer than it is. The packer end of the brush is good but I don’t enjoy using the blending end. That’s basically my only complaint, honestly if you’re buying a pallet in this price range then it might be worth it to own some higher quality eye shadow brushes. I was able to create a lovely, soft, natural eye look with just my fingers so it’s not always about the price of your tools but how you use them.

It’s dirt ....that’s clean!

First off, I loved the name of this product mostly because I have my hands in dirt all day secondly, I’m a skin care freak because my pores have always been large and get easily clogged and I will get oily in the heat. I almost never wear make up but when I do, it just and extra thing to have to wash off and after working in the heat all day with plants and animals and dust I religiously wash my face and neck every night. I wake up with such soft skin and I noticed my skin tone starting to even out! This stuff smells amazing, the feel is exfoliating but not harsh and you don’t need to use very much at all. So for the price you’re getting a lot of amazing product and beautiful packaging, which you can reuse! I definitely splurged on this item but I will 100% be purchasing more of these products in the future. I only need to use this maybe 2-3 times a week and my skin is happy.

Good for summer~

I got this in shade light, I believe it was the “lightest” shade available. If you’re skin tone is truly fair to light/fair, this is going to be too dark for you. I’m light to medium with warm/neutral undertones and this was boarder line too dark. I work outside daily and in the summer I get much darker but of course I protect my face as much as possible which is why I liked the high SPF in this product. I mixed it with a lighter foundation that I have and used my flat foundation brush to apply and it worked perfectly. The formula is great for me, so smooth! It’s very full coverage, I like light to medium coverage so I just thinned it and used sparingly and I got the exact effect I wanted.

Ok, I’ve never used falsies before in my life so I didn’t know what “size” to get. The product pictures looked very natural but with a bit more fullness and... oh wow are they full! I’m down for some full on glam, I’ll probably never be able to wear these IRL because #farmlife. But if I’m ever invited to the Met Gala, these babies will be going on my body even before my bra and panties. Totally unrealistic for me and my lifestyle but they are 100% quality and glam!

I like really thin, hair like lines and this brush just wasn’t giving it to me. I already have dark, thick brows so I only need a little outlining and filling in and this brush really paints it on. I tried to get the brush hairs to be really thin and hold together but they just kept separating. I’m used to using a sharp, firm pencil to line and fill in my brows so I figured there would be a learning curve but after quite a bit of practice I just found that a small eye liner brush works best. The spooly at the other end gets an A+, it’s a spooly, it does its job. But I wouldn’t pay $18 for a spooly.

Over all I’m totally pleased. I took a complete shot in the dark with this product, I’ve never bought brow dip before. I’ve only every used a pencil, I have a dark brown pencil that I keep very sharp and it’s firm. This luckily turned out to be my color! I use an eye liner brush to apply because the brow brush just doesn’t do it for me, I already have dark, thick brows and I need very little product to shape and fill them in. It lasts longer than my pencil but my pencil is quicker so it depends on my time and mood but I’d definitely buy this product again.
