Perfect! And you get a lot of product for your $

The micro fibres have a carton card helping the cloth to stay put. Easy to remove, wash and re-use. Most importantly, your brushes will be cleaned in two swipes, removing eyeshadow, powder and bronzer.

Really like the concept of the product and I consider USD 4.50 per cloth as a very fair price for what you get.

I expected somehow more

With Beautylish I discovered Oribe and ordered Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand cream, shower gel... you name it. I just love the Oribe scent and the lux feeling after using these products.

But this Lip Treatment was not much a step forward of what I have been using before. The balm gets oily and sits somehow on the lips. That's why I started to use it just to freshen up my matte lipsticks. Matt formulas will get eventually very dry on my lips - and that's the moment when I apply some of the Oribe Lip balm.

My holy grail for a divine, repairing, moisturizing lip treatment remains the Lancome Absolue Precious Cells Lip balm. Using in the morning and before bed only.

There are other products I will repurchase from Oribe, the Lip balm will probably not be on the list.

Why are not more raving reviews of this foundation here?

After watching raving reviews from Ali Andreea on Youtube, Michele Wang and others I decided to give this foundation a try. One of my Sundays was filled with investigating on my proper skin tone, undertone and which shade I have to chose when no trial is possible. Apparently I am a light to medium with a warm undertone. A larger part of my skin is covered with Melasma, especially in summer time. I have a very classic T-zone situation - apart from that I consider my skin to be very normal. Not specially dry or in the need of tons of hydration. I am 45 and yes, there are wrinkles here and there. However, I like to have a glow to my skin, without appearing too shiny or god forbid: oily.

My first experience with the foundation: its formula is very runny. First I applied with my Sonia G. Face One brush - the next couple of times I used a beauty sponge. The result of the latter was more refined, almost airbrushed. It goes on smoothly and leaves a beautiful texture. For my liking not too matte, not too dewy. It really depends on your preference, what products you use before. I took a picture today, after wearing my make up 7 hours straight. After skincare I used the Armani Prima Primer for the T-zone only. I also tested the ByTerry CC Serum in Apricot Glow below the foundation. This was amazing but I had to re-apply powder after a couple of hours.

The scent is quite strong; I am surprised it is not mentioned anywhere. It fades after applying but first it was almost a killer. Now I am so happy I tried it despite the perfume.

The shade 300W Medium Fair perfectly matches my skin tone.

Warm rosy pink with a matte finish - it isn't

This is not a "warm rosy pink" - be aware when you order this lipstick shade. I already bought Midnight Instinct, which was perfectly matching the description. The picture I attached doesn't do justice - there is a very warm, but brown tone to it, it went well with the brown color of my scarf;-). I like the color but it wasn't what I ordered and what I expected to get. However, I do appreciate the fact, that not only every skin tone is different but also the color of the lips which may result in a totally different appearance. The lips of the model shown for this shade has a beautiful warm rosy pink. In my case it is a lovely brown/red, but not pink. The matte finish it is.

So comfortable...

... and I enjoy looking at it. Bought the second one. Soft materials, produced with much care and you just feel it. If you have shorter hair as me and always troubled with keeping your back, with his headband you don't have to worry anymore :-).

Lux hand creme

If you do like the Oribe scent and you are looking for a rich, nourishing hand cream - you have to get this one. I first ordered the smaller size to test a few weeks ago. Especially in winter time, and as overnight treatment I do recommend this product over the Aesop I have been using so far. Top.

Maybe three stars, but not convinced (yet)

This is the first Surratt Beauty product I purchased based on raving reviews from Michele Wang on Youtube. The brand is not that popular in Switzerland - I wouldn't even know where to get it. So I purchased the shade 2 which turned out far too light for my skin tone. The bottle indeed is not handy and reading other reviews, I understand their issue with the packaging. Applying the foundation is divine - BUT the texture remained a bit sticky although I applied setting powder and I noticed a little break-out the day after. Maybe another serum/skincare is more suitable or it really is for dry, very drin skin only which I don't have. So I was thinking of giving it another try, but with samples from deeper shades which unfortunately aren't available. The price tag is just too high to order "blindly" additional shades.

Wow! If you're looking for an intense color - go for Midnight Instinct!

I was not familiar with ByTerry products and gave this one a shot based on former review. First of all: the color is a.m.a.z.i.n.g.! If you are looking for a deep violet/red making your lips look seductive and a bit mysterious - than you should order this one!

The one star I need to deduct from the 5 is the following: you definitely need a lip pencil to apply this formula. There is so much pigmentation, so much density to the product, that this one will probably last you forever (since you have 30 other lipsticks to use as well). So the re-applying during the day is a bit difficult if you're not working from home unless you carry a lip brush with you - which I don't.

It is doing fine

Decent on the lips, appears apricot pink on my lips as described. It wears like a Lip Gloss should do, although no special longevity. The smell is OK. Despite all the good things, it will not be my favourite Lipgloss product since I have other brands preferring over that one. Price tag for this product seems to be OK.

My first Hourglass product...

... and I love it! Based in Switzerland, I am new to Beautylish and constantly amazed about their client service and speedy deliveries (I ordered on Dec 31, got the package on Jan 5. I ordered some products in Switzerland the same day, they only arrived a couple of days later - amazing).

Back to Hourglass: although 45 years old and I considered myself quiet knowledgeable in beauty questions, I was not aware how much can be achieved with the right bronzer, powder, blush and highlight! And of course with the right brushes - Sonia G. has a new fan. This is by far the product I use the most ever since and I am constantly amazed by the colours and the sheen. Fully recommended, if you are looking for an elegant and decent coloration of your skin:-).
