Such a beautiful palette if it wasn't for the black....

First off: Beautylish's service is world class. The palette arrived broken and after sending them pictures and asking what to do, they immediately responded and offered to resend a new one for free (please note that I live in Switzerland, and they didn't ask me to return the broken palette). I can tell you that you won't find any beauty supplier in Switzerland or Europe for that matter, who would take care of you like that.

The palette: so gorgeous! The color story, the shades stay put, just a truly amazing palette. The only thing I wished that there was a dark brown shade instead of the black. Especially since the shades are so wonderful and soft looking.

But: using a pencil brush from Sonia G. with a bolder make up look, where you need to have a really good black shade: Wayne's is the one to go for.

I regret buying that palette

Although you get quite a number of shades in there, ultimately many of them look the same on the lid. This was one my first products I purchased from Beautylish and from Natasha Denona half a year ago.

Staying power is not exceptional as I expected it would be and after a couple of months I am thinking to just give it away because I rarely reach out to this palette and maybe one of my girlfriends can at least benefit from it.

Two stars because some of the shades look really nice and the packaging is OK, but that's it.

Again a world class product from Oribe

I am so glad I gave it a try. If I am not mistaken, I never had a proper hand scrub product in my life. But if I had to choose one, it would be exactly the Cote d'Azur Refining Hand Scrub!

I do have strange hands. A bad circulation, middle sized, nicely shaped fingers with extremely strong nails (they even got stronger with all the vital proteins products and Herbalore Catalyst Gold), but they are sensitive to any weather condition. So I do have to pay attention to my hands, if I want to look them well taken care of. This hand scrub in combination with the hand cream from Oribe gives me the feeling of a perfect care, at least before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning. No other combo will ever be able to smoothen the texture of my hands like these two products.

Don't be scared of the price tag: a little goes a long way :-).

I would give 10 stars if I could

I don't know what the lucky bag is, but I bought this oil for my boyfriend, initially. He is the oil type, I prefer creme products...

It turned out that I used up the whole bottle within no time. Unlike other reviewers, I applied the oil after a shower on the entire body. For face I do have an oil from another brand and I don't like to mix brands within skincare, so do I have another oil for hair. Agree with others that the Oribe scent is not dominating (which can be perceived as good or bad, right?) but I truly enjoyed the effect of long lasting smoothness of my skin and my boyfriend was like: order another bottle. He didn't like the oil on his skin.

Here comes the thing: it is presented as an "All Over Oil" so one will use it for hair, the others for the face - but me using it for the entire body (almost 170cm tall or little) you need quite some product, so "a little goes a long way" is not matching my purpose:-).

I wished there were larger bottles - to a more reasonable price. I don't mind pricey products if the quality is sublime (which in this case it truly is) but the price hits even my limits. At some point I might repurchase it again, just for the lux experience I had with that lovely oil.

Updating review from Feb 1, 2021 after 5 month of use.

I try to be honest and realistic as possible with my reviews, as I appreciate feedback from others as well, when they're posting their reviews on products I am interested in.

So: I have to correct my review from 3 to 5 stars as the lip balm over time really showed its real beneficial nature. I used it regularly, morning, evening, sometimes over the day and I like taking my Wayne Goss Lip brush for that purpose, as it is sturdy and able to pick the right amount of product. The scent is very pleasant, it brought me through a harsh winter and even harsher spring time without complaints.

In fact, I recommended it to my best friend and when she ordered with Beautylish, I asked her to get me my 2nd jar... that says it all.

worst ever

Despite the mixed reviews I thought I will give this a shot: no no no. I tried multiple version: with different concealers, different powders to set the concealer, even with my ultra strong Nars primer, especially for lids. It is beyond greasy, oily and I have no idea, who can wear this. Like a previous negative review it gave a sheen without the real color and it simply was super oily. Really can't recommend this product (in addition to the price tag where Surratt products are).

Did not like it

Texture and color pay off not satisfying at all. It remains greasy on the lips, does transfer a lot but the worst thing is, that you can't even achieve a good look in the first place. There are products fading very fast, but this one wouldn't even get there. In addition the price tag is a clear "no" from my end.

What a pleasant effect...

... you get after only a couple of days using this product. Not only is it tasty with very warm water, but it brought my digestion up to speed. If it influenced directly the condition of my nails, hair and skin I can't tell, since I took other "Beauty Pills" from Vital Proteins as well. Next to Herbalore's Catalyst Gold and Vital Proteins Collagen drink (the blue one), this is my favourite. Just ordered the second bottle. I think it made a difference on my overall wellbeing, when I mixed the collagen latte in the morning first thing, before drinking any water or coffee.

No luck with Surratt

Apart from their Eyeliner I ultimately gave away every product I purchased from Surratt. The shade seemed perfect as I was looking for a baby pink with a cool undertone, which it is. When it comes to handling: messy, unnecessary complicated and waste of product is guaranteed. The sponge is very hard and certainly not suitable for direct application. The cap is too close to the applicator, so you’ll always have a loss of content. The color is nice but no longevity on my normal skin. These are along with their lid lacquer and lash tint a waste of money.

TOP Multi task clothes

Adding to all the Reviews: not only sublime, refreshing and effective but also a multitask. There is not much make up on the clothes after my cleansing ritual so I decided to keep it overnight and the unused side serves as great cloth to clean my liquid cream brushes after applying foundation. No Kleenex can perform like this cloth does! I use the Tom Ford Instant Brush Cleanser. Give it a try - you will be hopefully amazed as I am.
