This is a cute little egg-shaped 'puff' with dual sides: One to grab the powder and one to blend the powder. In my opinion, the Beautyblender is better suited to apply and blend pressed powder. The goal with any powder puff is to be able to add the loose powder to the center of it, fold and rub the sides together to make sure the powder is blended into the puff. Once the powder has been absorbed by the puff, reverse the puff, fold it into a taco shell shape and start pressing the powder into the skin. With the Beautyblender puff, you really cannot do that effectively. Why? Because the shape and size of it make it very difficult to do so. The Power Pocket Puff is also quite thick, so it's hard to even be able to fold this thing to blend the powder into the puff. I believe this product is good for those who wish to 'bake' or to use it to get to tougher tighter areas on the face. It would also make a great pinkie finger rest for a makeup artist to use as to not disturb the makeup underneath while working on eye applications. Would I purchase this product again? No. It just doesn't work for me. I'll stick to my $2 powder puffs for full-face application.
