Interesting bag
This is my second purchase of the Surprise Bag from this round. My bag had lots of interesting items this time. 3 products from the Scorpio release (lip oil, liquid eyeshadow in Scorpio Sand, and Velvet Trap in Hot Devotion), a liquid blush in Teddybear Snack, mini lip trio from the Cotton Candy collection, Cotton Candy Queen palette, a leave on face mask from the Star Milk collection, and am eyelash curler. I'm not super excited about the lip trio because the colours are a little wild, but maybe I can mix the blue with another shade to get something wearable. The Hot Devotion lipstick is bright red, a little bold for me, but I think it's a lovely shade and could be beautiful for the right occasion. The Cotton Candy Queen palette is cute, and I think there are some wearable combinations.for.a regular day, as well as some fun colours. The eyelashes curler is pretty lame, and it's on sale for $3 right now. However, all in all I'm happy with what I received!
Good selection of items, some on sale for $3USD right now
I'm happy with the items I received. There were 7 items total. I did not receive a mirror. Was hoping to get the Gothic Beach palette, but got the Blood Lust palette, which is good, as I didn't have that one. Happy with the blush I received, Candy Petals. Some of the items are on sale on JSC site for $3USD right now (specifically the Velvet trap lipstick in androgyny) but it's still a cute shade. Liquid lipstick is in thick as thieves, which is a wearable shade. 4 stars because there used to be more items (previously received 2 palettes) and some items are on super sale right now
Deep Copper in the Light Deluxe Surprise Bag?! Only purchase this if you are looking to be out a crap ton of money and want to de disappointed!
Super disappointed in this bag. I must have got a loser bag because mine is filled with seemingly random shades, including Deep Copper bronzer. I'm like Casper the ghost with respect to my complexion complexion, so receiving this in my bag was a huge disappointment. Would definitely not recommend this bag, especially since the lead you on by being able to choose your complexion, but then send you whatever they want and state because they can since it is not refundable or exchangeable. And I triple checked that I did in fact select the LIGHT bag, but was still given the darkest bronzer shade. Save your money and put it to better use elsewhere. At least with the Charlotte Tilbury bags on her website you can get a refund if you get a crappy box. Now I am just stuck with unusable products for $239 Canadian. This is terrible and I would give less than 1 star if possible.
