Love the minis
These make the best shadows. They blend well and once you put on some translucent powder they don't budge. Also, i had no idea i could pull off purple lips.
Works really well
This is the best micellar water i have used. It worked great on liner and mascara. A nice light scent and no need to rince after using. The only drawback it the price per ml. I wish the larger bottle was 500ml
Refreshing and brightening
I have to say these are great! I was looking all hollowed out and dry. It was transforming. 5 out of 5 would buy again
It was worth the cost
I love brushes. I might have a weakness for them. But I also have hesitated in paying the high prices of good quality brushes. I love Elf and Morphe for the variety of low cost useful brushes. But I also love Wayne's channel. And every year he shows his limited brush and I literally lust after it. This year I finally decided to make it my big Christmas gift.
I can use it for so many things! And it is pretty. And soft as a kitten. the balance is so perfect. It doesn't look like it has picked up a lot of product but somehow it is always the right amount.
So much room!
I was excited to see this new style in Shane's line. With the double zipper you get a big opening into the bag. And it holds so much. I put in Blood Sugar, Blue Blood, Jaw Breaker, Conspiracy and both the mini jaw breaker and mini controversy pallets.
It is really sturdy and well made. I might need to get the pink as well.
What magic is this?
Who knew my skin was just waiting for this? Seriously, any dryness has disappeared and my skin literally glows with health. I really had no great expectations for the serum. I've used other types of serums - Vitamin C, Line erasers, hydrators... and they have had varying results. But this made my skin look and feel different from day 1. At this price - what do you have to lose?
Love the Bundle option!
I was so excited to see that this time the bundle was actually lowering the costs of the pallets! Ordered on Friday and shipment arrived in Canada on Monday! That is amazing turn around.
So far I have been wearing these for work so have stayed on the more conservative side ;) I was a little apprehensive that this pallet might only work for dramatic looks as we have a lot of bright neon shades. Happily there were enough options to work with the colors.
You will see fall out but this is normal for the shades and I don't find a lot of fallout on my face, just in the pan. As with all these pallets the glitter shades are best applied with fingers or wet. So far I am in love with F** and snack... those purples actually work... So many shades and such a large quantity in the pans.
It works. But the scent
Before purchasing I read all the rave reviews and for the price felt it was worth a try. To start with the positives: - you really get a good amount of product - it melts into your skin as you use it and your foundation and other makeup will melt off with it - it rinses away leaving your skin feeling soft and clean with none of the tightness you sometimes feel with other products
But - it has this scent that I can't describe. It is kind of sharp and medicinal but also a little floral? It must be the buckthorn oil. Every time I open in I want to close it back up right away. Now the scent will go away and doesn't linger on your skin after use but due to this I won't put it near eyes.
it works, my skin feels great... maybe with time I'll get used to that smell
Long lasting
I love this pallet. There are so many ways to combine the shadows that i could use it daily i smile at the smell everytime I open it. I typically start getting ready at 6am and return home at 7 or 8 pm the shadow still looks good. Considering that i have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes through out the day, these are amazing results.
A great way to get them all together
I'm going to start with the lippies - i picked them up for eye liners and girllllll they work - all day every day. If you don't want to wait for it to dry down you can powder with a corresponding shadow while they are wet. Love the small size - the bigger ones will go bad before I could use them up and I appreciate the cost savings not to mention that super cute box.
for the pallet I have more mixed emotions. Pros: - these babies blend like a dream - shadows last all day - just like the Blood sugar - it has the cuteness factor nailed with that packaging Basically you are getting high quality product that will work.
Cons: - the shimmers are more difficult to work with in this collection than Blood sugar. you'll need to develop a different approach to using them. - due to the popularity of the line it feels like there was a rush to gain quantity at the expense of quality finishing. like others, one of my pans was slightly off - 1 side was sitting higher than the other. I was able to press it into it's proper place without any damage. - messy - i need a light hand when picking up the shadows as they "dust" easily - leaving powder behind after you lift your brush. If I am careful I only pick up what I need and eliminate the mess.
Some of the colors will be a little more challenging for me to use but I look forward to trying ;) So far, if I could only afford 1 pallet i would want Blood Sugar vs Blue Blood as it is much more versatile for my needs. I have been able to make some great looks that don't include any of the blue though - which surprised me.
And finally - Beautylish. Guys I can't say enough good things about buying from you. I had both Jeffery's site and yours open on launch day. I wasn't sure if the product would be here. Both crashed 2 minutes in but Beautylish was back up and running right away - the other site kept crashing (I was trying to grab an item that was sold out here but still up on the other site... but there was no getting through the check out process.
Also - I have ordered from the direct website in the past. Beautylish ships faster, they box it up nicer (both sites do a good job but this one has an edge) and shipping costs are so much better here.
Final thought... when you bundle products, could we maybe get a discount? it is always the same price as buying the pieces separately.
