Natasha Denona does not disappoint

I haven't purchased Natasha Denona before, mainly because I thought that the hype around her products was probably over-rated. I was really wrong! The formula for these shadows is amazing. The pigmentations are expertly crafted so that when applied to the eye it applies with beautiful colour and very little to no fall out. All of the colours go well together, and blend seamlessly, and the metallic glitters don't require water to apply which many do. Overall, I love this and will be buying a lot more ND in the future.

Quickly a Favourite

One of my favourite things about being a makeup artist is empowering my clients to feel comfortable with makeup and the choices that they are making, and this palette does exactly that. Numbered and easily labelled, this step by step palette guides anyone to applying the perfect face in just a few minutes. The colours of the eyes are gorgeous, the black is a beautiful matte that is hard to find in many makeup palettes, and yet is such a staple in makeup. the bronzer builds impeccably, and the 2 different shades of blush add dimension to the face without effort. Finally, the highlighter gives a subtle hint of shine, a soft sparkle under the light, such iridescent pigmentation is unusual to find in this price point.

CT for the Win

I had never used any of the Charlotte Tilbury range before, however, had seen them reviewed on YouTube, and especially after watching Wayne Goss use them decided I would give them a try. I have no regrets! This small palette is perfect. The colours are wonderful, it's very easy to go from a more subtle day look to an instant night look by adding the pop of colours. It's beautifully pigmented, absolutely stunning to use, and I love it on myself and on clients too. I will be continually adding to my CT range as this is some gorgeous makeup.

It took me a minute

When the easel arrived, it will admit it took me a minute to figure out how to use it. I had to go back. to the photo's on the website to figure it out, and so a small sheet of instructions would not go astray. That being said, there are several of these on the market in different styles and this is most definitely my favourite. It is easy to use and holds a good number of brushes, most importantly without any wasted space which is common in competitive brands. Like many reviews, I do find some of the holes to be a little too tight, especially for a few of the larger handled Wayne Goss brushes, and certainly few a few of my Bobbi Brown brushes and it would be nice to see that reviewed, perhaps slightly larger, or even some kind of elastic. But overall I am very happy with it, and most likely will replace my other brush easel with other of these.

Game Changers in the Synthetics

I'm not typically a fan of synthetic brushes for a few reasons. The first being that because most of them are cut to the shape they don't tend to have the beautiful softness t them. Because these brushes aren't cut to the shape I decided to give them a go with no regrets. These brushes are beautifully soft and apply like a dream. When Wayne Goss says you don't need other brushes for the home application he's telling the truth. I used these with my other Wyne Goss, MAC and Bobbi Brown brushes this week on an artistic high fashion look for an event and the results were quite simply stunning. Well worth the purchase, and I can say I have not found a synthetic that matches them in quality.
