The powder itself is an easy 5 stars- it's super finely milled, sets my makeup, and gives my skin the most gorgeous "lit from within" glow. I thought that this product would be more of a liquid to powder spray, but it's actually just loose powder in a pump bottle- not my first choice for packaging, but as I mentioned, the powder itself is so wonderful that I would continue to use this.

And to be fair, the pump is not necessarily bad but it wasn't for me. It did shoot a little spray of powder directly into my fluffy brush and didn't make a mess or anything, but I would prefer a normal container.

This eye cream is so wonderfully rich, yet it absorbs quickly and is perfectly suitable for daytime use. I just love the spicy, earthy, luxurious ginseng fragrance which really wakes me up in the morning. I have noticed a definite hydration boost to my under eye area, as well as a brightening and firming effect. This eye cream is a must during the colder months to keep your delicate eye area hydrated and healthy!

A tiny bit of this cream goes a long way, and I can see this jar lasting for a very long time.

Wake up to soft, smooth skin!

I was pleasantly surprised by this serum: it's super rich and goes on like a moisturizer with the most delicious honey scent, but it's got the zing of a pretty strong exfoliating treatment and left my skin feeling soft and dewy. I love how this formula feels on my face and I love the glowy and smooth results I wake up to in the morning. Can't wait to see the results after more use!

Lightweight hydration at a steal of a price!

Hyaluronic Acid is a must have in everybody's skincare collection, and I was honestly surprised at just how effective this formula is. I use this morning and evening while my skin is slightly damp with toner and right before applying the rest of my products. Hyaluronic acid is not a moisturizer, it's a humectant which means it draws moisture into the skin, so use it when your skin is damp for best results! This particular formula is light and easily absorbed and does not leave my skin feeling sticky or tight. I'm very happy with this addition to my routine!

The peptides in this formula are quite high on the ingredient list, so I was expecting hydrated, plump, and smooth skin after using this serum. I haven't been let down yet! This is incredibly hydrating and lightweight, and it absorbs really quickly with no weird film or stickiness left behind. There is a very subtle fragrance (almost like Fruity Pebbles maybe) that must be the bergamot oil, but I have not had any issues with irritation even though I'm usually pretty sensitive to essential oils and scents. I have used this in the evenings after the Overnight Exfoliating Treatment and I have to say that have noticed that my skin looks brighter, smoother, and more well rested in the morning. The peptides in this formula are supposed to smooth the skin, as well as help with collagen and elastin production so I expect that I'll see even better results over time!

No Glitter, Just Glow

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this setting spray not only gave my skin such a nice, fresh looking glow but it keeps my makeup locked in place all day. I usually apply this spray after my powder products to really help melt them into my skin and prevent cake face, and then again over my entire finished look and that seems to be the best way for me to ensure nothing moves around. I also love the spray nozzle on this because it allows just the finest mist to come out, so instead of feeling like you've drenched your makeup, you feel a very gentle mist.

Colette Haydon, the creator of this brand, is also known for developing products for wonderful brands such as Ren and Jo Malone, so I really wanted to give Lixirskin a shot.

This was admittedly not a love at first use product, but I've found myself using the Electrogel Cleanser every evening and enjoying it a little more each time.

I do double cleanse, so I use this after my makeup has already been thoroughly removed (shout out to my favorite product ever, the Farmacy Green Clean Balm!) so I cannot say whether or not this is effective with makeup removal. There is no lather with this, just a super creamy and thick lotion-like product with a very intense herbal scent. I like to apply to my dry skin, then use wet fingers to massage it in and then leave it on for a minute or two before removing with my Konjac sponge.

After rinsing, my skin feels super hydrated and clean and balanced. I really love this line of products for how laid back and intuitive it is and I will continue to use the Electrogel.

Subtle Brightening, No Creasing

I really love the texture of this powder- it's so super finely milled with just the slightest hint of a pearlescent sheen. I like applying the tiniest bit with my Wayne Goss 02 brush or the tip of a damp BeautyBlender to really snatch my concealer and keep my under eyes looking crease free and awake all day. I actually prefer this to the Laura Mercier version for under eye baking!

I also appreciate the shaker lid because I have a habit of making a huge powdery mess with my setting powders, but this one seems to only let out the tiniest bit.

I love using this Konjac sponge for getting all of my cleanser off my face after washing and all the remnants of my masks off after rinsing.

I wish I could daintily splash water on my face like in the Neutrogena commercials, but I end up with a soaking wet shirt and soap residue on my face. This awesome little sponge does a great job of getting everything off and feeling really nice on the skin. I am not quite sure if the clay infused in the sponge is actually having an effect on my complexion, but I really do enjoy this product for how fun the texture is and how clean my face feels after using it.

The Perfect Travel Palette

I was drawn to this palette because for a Camel-themed color story, the shades are quite less warm toned than one might imagine. These options are yellow toned and fairly neutral which excited me as most of my other brown palettes are orangey/red.

These shades easily transition from the perfect natural 'I woke up like this' day look to a smoky, sexy nighttime situation, all in Natasha's beautifully pigmented and fantastically blendable formula. This is the perfect sized palette to throw in your bag and create multiple looks with.
