Essential

This is an essential in my makeup bag. Even if I use a tinted brow gel, I always use this to keep everything in place. It's not too sticky, won't leave things too crunchy if you don't use a ton, and it can leave brows looking natural too. I can't finish my makeup without it.

Surprising

When I first bought this product, I bought it online without swatching it. I believe I got the shade Brunette and it was definitely NOT my color, it almost looked like it was meant for a redhead. I went to a store and looked for my color match and found it to be Granite, the darkest shade available. I do have black hair, but the shade is definitely not the shade of my hair. It still looks great, however, but if you have straight black hair, I would probably look for a different product. I bought this product to replace my Gimme Brow that Benefit Cosmetics seems to have discontinued. This product is sort of comparable to Gimme Brow, but I feel like this is more of a "paint" than a fiber-like formula that Gimme Brow had, but the finish still looks great. Just make sure you get it on your brows and not your skin!

Use With Caution

Three drops is about all you need for a beautiful Highlight. The pigmentation is absolutely crazy. The drops are best blendable with just my finger I have found and leaves just enough highlight without making a big glittery patch on my cheek. Use at your own risk and I am not sure if I would use this all over with foundation.

Great For Filling

I’m naturally a blonde and still have my blonde eyebrows despite having black hair and my mom gave me this pencil. I figured I would keep it to try “no makeup makeup” looks and actually found that my brows and hair will match pretty well when I use this color. It really does help define brows so if you need something for little hair strokes, you may want to try with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow and 7B Brush . It blends easily and doesn’t leave annoying chunks. Anastasia is the queen of brow products.

Loooovvveeee.

The employee told me that it would work good in getting my new Kat Von D Smoke and Mirrors lipstick set off. He definitely was right. I like this product, but I don't think I would buy it for the price and I honestly am not a huge fan of the solid remover. You're almost smearing it all over your face again which leads to a greasy face for a bit. I'll stick to liquid makeup removers.

Takes Practice

This product has taken me a lot of time to practice, but the results are great when I get it right. Anastasia is the Brow master. For me, I did not find much difference between the two shades in the compact and found that I could make the "gradient" effect simply by applying product lightly. Perhaps I need more practice...

Perfect CC Cream

I would always laugh at how dramatic the advertisement for this product was in the makeup stores. I didn't think this product had any merit until I finally tried a travel size. I was shocked at how well it seemed to form and become a part of my skin. It blends so well, has made my skin look amazing, and isn't heavy at all. It really looks like your skin! I definitely recommend this product!

A Color For Everyone

I love Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Products. They’re really the best you could ever buy! This product in particular really helps define brows as much as you want and also looks very natural. I have dirty blonde hair naturally and the shade Medium Brown actually looked great on me. I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

High Beam?

With a name like "High Beam" I was expecting something very blinding, however, that is not what I got. Instead this highlighter is very subtle, and I stress the world subtle. It's pretty, but just not my style. It's also hard to tell if it's long lasting because I can't really see it after I've put it on. I'm not a fan.

Could Be Improved

This product is okay but I don’t think it’s really for me. I’ve gotten samples of this many times but it just never really worked for me. It clogged my pores too much (which really is what it’s supposed to do), and my makeup looked pretty good, but it also felt a little drying and almost chalky to me. It works for others, but not for me.
