Beauty Product Reviews
Everything it says it is
No color, no caking, and it REALLY makes your makeup last! Can't beat the price and zero reaction from my sensitive, acne-prone, aging skin.
Game changer
I will never ever ever be without this product. I only use other cleansers if/when I feel like my skin needs an "extra" clean or if I just really feel like washing my face with water. This product removes everything (including rub-off from hair colors including Joice K-Pak Color Intensity and Pravana Vivids...just sayin') and leaves my skin feeling calm and looking clear.
Wanted to love this
I loved the coverage and feel on initial application but this product caked into fine lines as well as oxidized and streaked after only a couple of hours of wear, with or without a primer under it. I tried using this as a setting powder just to avoid wasting it and I couldn't make this work for me no matter how little I used or whether I used a BeautyBlender, brushes, or fingers.
I wanted to love this
I love this brand and I wanted to love this product but it just did not work for my skin no matter what I did. Primer or no primer, different powders to set it, BeautyBlender, brushes, and/or fingers to apply, a little or lot...did not matter. This product stuck where I didn't want it to and I couldn't build the coverage without getting cakey. It also oxidized on my skin a lot and it seemed like it might have caused some clogged pores.
This combined with The Ordinary's azelaic acid suspension gives me the same results I was getting from my dermatologist's products, but without applying antibiotics to my face which is absolutely fantastic. Not to mention the fact that The Ordinary's prices are so low that there's really no contest between dermatologist copays and/or prescriptions vs these products. I love The Ordinary's dropper bottles because it makes it so easy to get exactly the right amount of product.
Love this stuff
It leaves a nice matte finish and it definitely has helped my skin. This is one of the two products I use from The Ordinary that I used to get specifically from a dermatologist. Thanks to this line I was able to stop applying antibiotics to my skin which is a huge plus for me. I do think this product has a weird almost fuel-like smell when I apply it but it dissipates quickly and it's still worth it for the price and effectiveness of the product.
Another good value from The Ordinary
I am not a big fan of how silicone primers make my skin feel but I love everything I've tried from The Ordinary and at this price I had to try this. It is DEFINITELY one of the most spreadable primer products I've ever used. Of course it made my face feel like all silicone primers do, but the finish was beautiful and my makeup definitely held up well. If you use more expensive silicone primers you should absolutely try this. As with most Ordinary products this comes in a dropper bottle so you can get the perfect amount of product.
Amazing value
This, like every The Ordinary product I've tried, is a great value. Gives me the same results as more expensive retinoid products and I love the dropper packaging to get the most precise amount out at once.
