Worth Every Penny

My skin is unbelievably dry this year. After trying every lotion any potion at the drugstore and department stores, my dermatologist recommended this oil to me. I was hesitant but I am so glad I took her advice. The product has a beautiful, light spa like smell that doesn’t linger for for long. I dry brush myself and then take a lukewarm shower. After I pat myself dry I use this oil and it soaks right in without leaving a greasy residue behind. The stopper on top on the bottle is designed to dispense just a few drops of oil at a time so I don’t have to worry about pouring out too much at once. A little bit goes a long way.

Great makeup remover

I have tried almost every makeup remover out there and I always come back to the Farmacy Very Clean products. I was excited this came in a the cherry fragrance and I hope they make the cherry products permanent. This product is amazing for several reasons: 1) you only need a small dab of the product to cover your whole face so the tub lasts months 2) the remover isn’t greasy! I love the concept of an oil remover but not the reality since oil always escapes down my jaw and 3) no residue! I remove the product with a warm damp wash cloth but I have also used a baby wipe and Kleenex on vacation and I had no residue either of those times either. I forgot to mention, this is a great cleanser in the summer for days when you didn’t wear makeup, just a little sunscreen and your face got a bit hot and sweaty. If I don’t have time to wash my face and shower before going out, I use a bit of this on my face with a damp washcloth, shower anyway, and off I go.

I own all three of Wayne’s eye shadow palette’s and this is by far my favorite. The formula is the same in all of them, creamy, smooth and blendable but there is something about this color story that is … magical. I don’t know how else to explain it. I have had this palette for about 2 weeks and I have reached for it almost daily. The colors are special and they stand out but they are also neutral enough to work with other palettes if you need a bit of extra sparkle in a basic look. And thank you for not taking up a pan with another black shadow!

Hydrating and Beautiful

I live in a hot and at times humid climate. I was so excited to try this lip balm and it did not disappoint. The color is a beautiful pinky brown and the formula is very moisturizing without being sticky or tacky on the lips.

Beautiful

I love this little palette. The colors are silky soft and bendable. I wish the shadows were a bit more vibrant but this works as a nice daytime palette if you want a light summer eye.

I was really excited to see that Jeffree was selling his shadows as singles. However, I noticed that not all the singles from each palette are available which is disappointing. I have most of his palettes but I didn’t buy Blood Money because I don’t like green on me. I was hoping to pick up a few singles from that palette to give as a gift. It’s also nice to be buy a shade you’ve hit pan on as a single. Hopefully, the singles line will get expanded.

Shade doesn’t match the picture

This lipstick is amazing! It is creamy, silky smooth and long wearing without drying out my lips. The only complaint I have is that the lipstick shade on the lips in the picture do not match the lipstick in the tube. This is an ongoing problem at Beautylish. The same pairs of lips are used over and over again with lipstick photoshopped (or not) onto them. PLEASE use real swatches on models and swatch on arms if you can. In one of the reviews for this product a person was nice enough to post swatches of all the shades on her arm and not surprisingly they look nothing like the official swatches. I am now going to buy Anderson when it’s back in stock based on her swatches.

Stunning!

I absolutely love this foundation! Still stuck at home with the rest of us, I wasn’t interested in anything that I couldn’t see above my mask. But the Beautylish email for this foundation caught my eye and I’m glad it did! The foundation smells great and has a nice consistency that isn’t too thick or too thin. It applies well with fingers, sponge or brush. It dries down to what I would call a satin finish and I only needed bit of powder to touch up my forehead because it was hot out. The biggest surprise came later when I had to mask up to go out. I wore my mask for about 4 hours and when I got home and unmasked, my foundation was not messed up or on my mask. I was truly impressed! This is a must have in my book!

Great Pops of Color!

This palette has beautiful pops of color to liven up any eye look. I used this endlessly during the holiday season (alone and with other palettes) and it’s compact size was perfect for dropping in my clutch. Now that the holidays are over, I will use it to transition into Spring once the weather warms up.
