Still loyal to Laura Mercier
I SO wanted to love this. $12 for 3 oz? It seemed like a no-brainer. And, listen, it definitely works.....I just think, overall, the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is better for my needs. The are both insanely finely milled, bake make-up well, and last pretty much all day (I easily wear my makeup for 12 hours a day, with no opportunities for touch-up). However, I think the delivery method here is problematic. I have been using my Laura Mercier lid to empty the product onto, which sort of defeats the purpose - and, way too much comes out no matter how gently I try to shake the bottle. Also, I feel like I look a bit more ghostly with the RCMA powder. I know you're not supposed to, but even a friend noticed. So, long-story-short, this is a good but not great product. If I didn't stock up on the Laura Mercier powder twice a year during the Sephora VIB sales, maybe I'd feel more interested in this one...
P.S. This does contain talc. Their own website lists it as an ingredient. I'm confused by people saying this is talc-free. I mean, it's just talc and silica according to the back of the bottle...
