The Perfect Brush

I have had the pleasure of teaching women of all ages how to apply their makeup. The one problem that a lot of women have is applying too much blush. Believe it or not, a lot of women are very heavy handed when it comes to applying blush. The fan brush is their best friend. It allows you to build a little color at a time so you always get the perfect amount of color. The fan brush is also a great contouring and highlighting tour as well. When You need to lightly set your makeup, this should also be your go to brush.

Favorite Brush Cleaner

This is a great two in one Makeup Brush Cleaner. Not only will it remove every last stitch of makeup from your brushes, but it will also condition them as well. I use the spray for a quick clean when the brush is not that dirty. When I need to really remove a lot of makeup I use the bottle in conjunction with the jar. The jar has a special screen at the bottom so you can really give your brushes a great cleaning. Some people may not like the citrus smell, but it does not bother me one bit.

Best for Fair to Light Skin Tones

I wish I could use this product on myself. The glow it leaves on lighter skin tones is amazing. On me, I just look ashy and a little dirty. I recommend this product as a blush more than a bronzer.

Over-rated

I've heard about this product for years. I finally decided to purchase this so called miracle Drying Lotion. The product burned my skin and left behind a dark mark. Plus it smelled like calamine lotion. Who wants to be reminded of chicken pox when applying a product.

What Edges?

I wish I were born with straight edges that just brushed back with ease. Unfortunately that is not the case. My edges look like an afro wig. My boyfriend is the person who introduced me to Murray's because he uses it for his pomp. After I wet my edges in place and brush in the Murray' with a toothbrush, they are just as sleek and straight as when I go to my hairstylist. A must have product.

Eyeliner of Choice

One of my biggest issues for me when it comes to liquid eyeliner is the applicator. I can never find an applicator that allows me to get a tight enough line. My search is finally over. The brush applicator is thin enough to make a kitten eye and is gives the right amount of control. For those who find it difficult to use, my advice is to first apply your mascara and then apply the liner. It will create a hardened base and will allow you to just drag the brush across your lashes.

Perfect With A Primer

I too use the concealer for my under eye circles and it can go on a little stiff if you don't warm the product up first. Apply it with your finger instead of a brush or straight from the tube and the results will be much better. When I need it to really last I apply a face primer lightly underneath it.

Amazing Neutral Eyeshadow

When Smashbox reformulated their eye shadows I was a little skeptical. I mean why mess with perfection. I will miss my Etch eye shadow (R.I.P) however the new colors are so beautiful and silky. Cinnamon Toast is great for an every day taupe. Just be careful to tap the color on because they will flake.

Fragrance Extender

My body seems to absorb fragrance quickly. No matter how much layering I do the fragrance just will not last. That is until I learned to apply Vaseline Petroleum Jelly to my pulse points and then spritz with fragrance. The scent lasts all day without being overwhelming.

Christmas All Year

I grew up in the Midwest so Christmas is a huge holiday for me. I would love to celebrate Christmas all year round if it didn't make me appear insane. My little ode to Christmas is the Philosophy Candy Cane body wash/bubble bath. I recommend this more as a body wash than a bubble bath since it does not bubble like I would like it to. The smell reminds me of decorating the Christmas tree with my family.
