Love at first swatch!
This is the very first Urban Decay palette I purchased, has it been almost 2 years since it released? I still have alot of the product left, obviously there is so much eyeshadow in this palette to last you a couple more years or longer. It comes with 2 eyeliners and a travel sized primer potion which I thought made the price worth it. Go easy when applying because the colors are vibrant, long lasting and a small amount goes a long way. I love the packaging as well, they couldn't go wrong with Alice in Wonderland, its a beautifully made palette with a beautiful theme. Too bad its discontinued but I'm a proud owner and wouldn't sell or trade this for anything.
Different
I tried 4 different nude colors, they smell like heaven (like a cupcake, Mmm!), I almost wanted to lick it! granted it is true to the color, although it has a creamy texture; they made my lips dry, even with chapstick on! maybe I should try using a lipliner before applying it because without that, it smudges outside of my lips making it look like I don't know how to put lipstick on. I don't think they are long lasting, after a couple of hours the color started to fade and I found myself reapplying. Maybe I'll give it another chance since, I love matte lipsticks and its fun trying new products, hopefully this next time around it will wow me enough to buy more colors? we'll see...
Not easy to use
I really wanted to love this product since I heard so many good reviews about it on YouTube, granted its a great looking base, even by itself! it helps brighten up your eye area but it dries up so quickly that it becomes a hard texture, I also noticed that it gets blotchy in one area and makes it hard to spread around my eye lids. I find that I have to work quickly with this product, otherwise it won't look even.
Its hard to choose a favorite!
Blankety, Peachstock and Freckletone has been my top 3, all the other ones I been wanting to try have been discontinued (which I hate very much). I like that MAC lipsticks don't smell bad (like the drug store lipsticks that sometimes make you want to gag). There is always a variety of fun colors to play with, only downfall is some of the finishes make my lips dry, so be sure to add chapstick or carmex prior to applying lipstick.
I love it!
I own 6 NARS blushes, so far my 2 favorites are Angelika and Sin. They both give me that nice cute glow that my skin tone and cheeks crave for. Over all, the pigmentation of all the NARS blushes I own are amazing, they last all day, even with oily skin, its still there and without a primer too! go easy when applying because its easy to over do it.
My perfect nude!
out of all the nude lipsticks I have tried, this is by far the best one for me. Everyone's skin tone is different, so it will work differently for everyone, with mine I found the perfect nude. It does'nt flush me out or make me look dead at all. It is also not drying, it has a creamy texture. This is perfect with the Viva Glam 2 lipgloss/lipglass. I need to get a few back ups, this will be gone soon.
Far from boring!
I've owned this palette since it first released last year in the fall 2010. I like that 12 different neutral colors are packed in 1 convenient size palette that also came with the double sided eyeliner. Lately, this is what I pack each time I travel. There is so much of a variety with the colors that you have plenty to work with. Highly recommended!
