No pores from outer space
This high-lighter (like all Natasha Denona products) is a dream to apply. It goes on more smoothly and finely than other highlighting cream sticks, such as Nars Multiple. It is not greasy, and gives you a lovely "lit-from within" look. I am taking away one star because the cap isn't very secure, which makes it bad for travel, and this is just the thing I would want to throw in my bag for touch-ups. Otherwise wonderful.
The first liquid lipstick I have ever liked. And I've tried.
This lipstick is hands down slam dunk amazing. I have tried other brands, such as KvD, Colourpop, Hourglass, Melteds, and Jeffree Star nailed it. I used some Mojito Lip Scrub beforehand (which is yummy) and the lipstick applies like a dream. The doe-foot applicator has a little "step" in it so that it conforms to your lips and therefore application is much easier/precise. I used "Celebrity Skin" and it's the perfect nude: there's pink in it, but it doesn't look like concealor on your skin. I work in a hospital, and it's a super dry environment. This lipstick lasted comfortably until lunchtime, and did not make my lips feel cracked or even burn (like some liquid lipsticks do). Jeffree nailed it. (Hands clap)
No make-up make-up. Solid
Do you ever have those days where you want to walk the dog, but can't deal with being seen without a touch of makeup? Or if you're feeling a little "fashion forward" and want to try the no-makeup look but don't want to look like awful? This is it. I love the Smoke because it gives you a hint of dark without a full-on smokey eye, is super fast to apply and smudge, and does the trick when you don't want to go full-on "glam." I am removing a star because it's not exactly long wearing, but we can't have everything.
Best Contouring Product Out There.
I have been eyeing this whole new contouring craze for a while. I couldn't decide if beauty retailers are trying to create a whole new market, if it's inspired by the 80's-90's rebirth, or if it really is a cool thing. I tried a few products and they were either time consuming, garish or orange. This sculpting powder is the REAL DEAL. It is by no means orange or difficult to use. Just a simple swipe where your cheek bones begin (or are where they are hiding lol) and it creates an instant, believable shadow. I'm not a pro, but I am sure the uses are endless with the right tools and knowledge to create beautiful shadows. The only caveat is that, yes, the product is expensive and the amount of product is small. Take in mind it is finely milled, a little goes a long way, and it's worth it.
