Amazing value for the price

I would have to say that this Inglot palette, in my entire collection, is my favorite. The shape, the weight, the magnetic lid--- amazing. The shadows are creamy and blendable. They are so creamy that when you swatch them, you can see a finger mark on the pan. As they are highly pigmented, there is some fall out, but tapping off your brush before application fixes that.

One qualm I have about the palette is that it is very hard to get the shadows in and out. I have heard of some people using the magnets on the lid to fish out the pans, but it doesn't work for me. So be aware that you can gouge out eyeshadow from the pans while trying to rearrange your palette.

Lovely for layering or setting brows in place

I was turned on to Anastasia Brow products when I went to a beauty event in Nordstorm with Anastasia herself. I was recommended Taupe (formerly Ash Blonde/ Taupe) and find it to be a perfect match. I have used both synthetic (MAC 263) and natural hair (Anastasia #7 Mini Duo Brush) angled brushes, and they both pick up and deposit color well. I use the lighter shade on the front of the brow and the darker shade on the middle and tail of the brow. I usually layer the powder on top of a pencil to set it and to deepen up the color. I personally find that using the powder alone doesn't work for me as it doesn't seem to stick to the skin under my brows. Overall, great value for money and everyone can find their shade in the expanded range.

I received a sample of this and the KA sensual skin enhancer from the wonderful Melanie as I was in the market for a new foundation and couldn't commit to just one. To test it out, I added a few drops into a basic moisturizer (CeraVe) and mixed it on the back of my hand and to my horror, it didn't mix in. It just looked like old foundation that had separated. It had a weird gritty texture which I think is the pigment in the base. For the sake of experimentation, I went ahead and tapped it on to my face a la Karima of Shameless Fripperies. I do have to say it has beautiful coverage, but for me, it highlighted dry patches and it does cling to flakies. Overall, I love the concept of custom coverage but I personally think that it takes time to find perfect pairing for these drops.
