Beautiful brushes made my day

I love this set. They are so beautiful. I can't get enough just looking at them. I like the big face brush, check one and the eye shadow one. As same as other reviewers, I do not understand the design of the crease brush. The hair is too soft, I double its functionality. The smallest brush is far to hard to use on eyes or lips.

My favourite is the check brush. It's similar to Z4. Both are blue squirrel hair, but Sakura one is flatter than Z4. I have attached comparison photo. Although I owe Z4 and Z8, I do not mind getting another similar check brush. The hair is so soft and it works so well with pigmented blush or highlighter.

If you love brushes and can't resist beautiful design, get this set! Doing makeup with them will be the best time of the day!

worst brush holder

Chikuhodo brush is always great. I have no double about that! However, if I can choose again, I will not buy the set, but choose to buy individually. GSN-03 as a cheek brush I found is too big. I use it for finish loose powder. GSN-13 is a small eyebrow brush I use to fill in eyebrow, and it's used less frequent than GSN-12.

One thing I have to say is that the brush bag is terrible. It doesn't have a inside top cover. I put my brushes in and they are easily fall out from the top. It is a lame design! The pretty flower outside cheated me. It is not even coming in free with the set. It actually costs $28!

great eyebrow brush

I love this eyebrow brush. The size is perfect to frame the eyebrow and also fill in with powder. The hair is not to soft not too hard. I owe a bobbie eyebrow brush. This one is far better than that. I also have GSN-13, which is a smaller eyebrow brush. I found this one works better than the smaller version. highly recommended.

Best foundation brush I ever used, and I have tried many foundation brushes, including flat ones from bobbi brown, Channel, new real technique triangle one. I prefer the duo goat synthetic brush for applying foundation. I have MAC 187, 130, hakuhodo B5554 and Shiseido. WG 01 is similar size to MAC 130, which is actually my faviourte size for foundation. Hakuhodo B5554 is slighter bigger and I use if for darker shade foundation or cream contour. WG01 has the most soft synthetic hair. It blends foundation so evenly and it feels like heaven. I do not find it taking to long to apply foundation for the whole face like others said. I use it for my rush morning makeup as well. I highly recommend this brush.

Nice Brush

I bought Z4 first and found it too small and then I got this Z8. This is a perfect blush size brush for me. I have attached a photo comparing Z4, Z8 besides Nars blush. These 2 blushes can be used together to layer the blushes. They are both super soft. When I use Z8 for very pigmented blush such as Nars Exhibition A, it still gives a natural sheer looking. I prefer this brush to goat hair blush brush, unless I want obvious effect and in a limited time. I have to mention that Beautylish is the best cosmetics website I found so far. I made the order on Tuesday, and received it on Friday. USA-> Australia! Super efficient! Thank you Beautylish team!

Beautylish is an amazing website! I made the order Saturday night and got the brushes on Tuesday!! They ship faster than Australian domestic shipping! The brush is heavenly soft. I have many Hakuhodo brush (another famous Japanese brand), however, this one feels softer. I cannot stop touching it. I did lots of research before purchasing, but it is still smaller than I expected. It looks like a highlighter brush size to me. I was hesitated between Z4 and Z8, I think I still gonna get Z8 later. I think for the ones who prefer precious blush. this is excellent
