Mini Miracle Eye Wand+The Retoucher = Magic
I've been looking for under eye concealer since I ran out of my By Terry
Touch-Expert Concealer #1 a month ago. Tried Charlotte Retoucher by itself, didn't satisfy me, until this duo wand came out. The eye cream is hydrating enough, good for the day. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin. Shade 1 is a light pink color, less pinky tone than By Terry(salmon pink). I use this to correct my dark circles, then The Retoucher #2. After it dries, I use Miracle wand again, don't need to twist it, just gently pat the brush on the eye bag area. It hides almost 100% of my under eye problems. I'm thrilled to find the best combo for my dark circles and eye bags! For any Asian girls who's confused about the shade, I have quite light Asian skin tone, if you have natural skin tone, get Shade 2(it has a bit pinky tone as well). Shade 2 worked on my friend really well.
YOU NEED THEM
I've had the brush guard for ages, they don't break. Have to say this is one of the best brush related inventions. Instead of bring a brush case with me when I'm traveling, I prefer to guard my brushes with these guys. It saves so much space. I also use them to reshape my brushes after washing them, perf!
Exquisite
5 stars for the packaging and product. I don't normally use mirror in the palette, but this mirror is awesome. I hope Charlotte can make Compact Foundation with the same packaging.
First, I thought the highlight color is too shimmery. But when I put it on my face, Wow, it's so delicate and natural. My brow bone and cheek bone instantly looks plumped. Why do girls need filler for forehead and cheeks, when using Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow can achieve the same result? Lol. It's perfect for cheek bone, brow bone, cupid's bow and chin, but not that perf for under eye of the bridge of nose. Just my personal opinion. I prefer to use KA candlelight for the bridge of nose.
The bronzer is alright, I don't use it that much. It's a bit too gold for my skin.
(The pic I posted has reflection on my brow bone, it doesn't look that shining in real life. )
If it last longer......
I love the gorgeous rose scent, the color, the weightless feeling. I don't need too much coverage, so this is good enough. It makes my skin look like it's wearing nothing but healthy and glowing. I just wish it can be a bit more long lasting.
HG eyebrow palette
If you have black hair and love dark eyebrows, get color #1 Moss Green- a classic brow color. I use color #2 Brown, it can create brow colors fit blonde to brunette hair colors. It's easy to use, perfect for creating ombre eyebrows. The color is soft and rich, the lightest color on the right is also good for naturally contouring nose(for light skin). Suqqu did a great job on making those 2 tiny brushes in the palette, the quality is just as good as Suqqu brushes. From the product itself to the packaging, it is impeccable. This eyebrow palette worth every penny, one can last you forever.
multi-task. good for cream and powder products
First of all, all the TF brushes are very well done. This No.2 cream foundation brush is good for cream and powder products, foundation, blush and bronzer. It's quite dense, soft but not the softest, so it can apply intense color and blend well. I love it so much that I want to get my 2nd one. Meantime, I found the shape is very similar to Chikuhodo GSN-5, GSN-5 is almost half price! Ummmm, should I give it Chikuhodo a try?
Matte but creamy
Matte revolutions are not matte matte kind of lipsticks. I don't prefer glossy lip color at this moment, meanwhile I have dry lips. So these creamy matte babes became my HG. Before I tried them, I thought I'd only like a few colors, like Birkin Brown, Sexy Sienna and Very Victoria. Then I did arm swatches, still didn't change my mind. Everything changed after I put them on my lips, dude, I like almost every single color!!! My favorite color is of course Birkin Brown, I had sort of cocoa lip color obsession since I was 5. My least favorite color is Red Carpet Red, since I'm not big fan of this kind of red, and you can find the similar color everywhere.
Walk of Shame and Bond Girl surprised me, I don't usually like red tone lipsticks except the dark ones, so I thought they were those ones that I hate. But they're not. I have pale lips and I always want them to look healthier, WS and BG did it.
Oh, the deepest two colors Glastoncherry and Birkin Brown's texture is a bit patchy compare to the others, however it doesn't matter. I love love BB.
I'll post all the lip swatches later on my page.
Pleasant Scent
I've been using cleasing water for 7 years, tried Bioderma Sensibio, Avene, Koh Gen Do and La Roche-Posay. Honestly, they're all very similar, just different scent, price and packaging. I personally don't like how they scented Avene and La Roche-Posay, they don't smell like hypoallergenic skincare. Also they're kinda overpriced. I believe Koh Gen Do and Sensibio are both unscented. I recently got this Hydrabio, and I love the scent, flora?apple? Not quite sure. It does make my skin a bit more hydrated than Sensibio. What I normally do is use Bioderma to remove my foundation and eyeshadow as soon as I get home, then go to gym. Using eye makeup remover to remove my mascara and eyebrow makeup before I go to bed. Thus, my skin can breath and I will still have some pretty makeup until I go to sleep.
The VV
I'm not a big fan of red tone eyeshadows. VV is a red-brownish palette, so I decided to give it a try. Turned out I like it. You can create a very dramatic look as the poster or it can just adds some color on your daily look. The pigmentation is better than I thought due to the previews reviews, very close to my TF shadow quads. I give it 4 stars because it doesn't come with those little nice quality brushes. I understand if you're a Pro makeup artist, you don't really need it. But CT works so much on their packaging design, might as well includes them.
