Beauty Product Reviews
So much shine!
My hair is so much smoother and shinier since I started it. Leaves my hair soft and lightweight (conditioners usually weigh my hair down). I like it a lot. If you want to see my full review of the collection, check it out here (not sponsored): I really think this is a great shampoo. It has helped me a ton. Is it a miracle worker? Not quite. But it’s bettered the amount of dandruff I have, relieve a lot of the discomfort, and helped with hair loss. I’d recommend it if you have scalp issues, but if you have severe dermatitis or something more serious, I’d use it in tandem with your prescription shampoo or a treatment rinse. So soothing!
This was my favorite product from the scalp collection. It feels cooling and instantly relives any itch or soreness. I also love the nozzle that lets you put the product exactly where you need it. Not perfect but helped a lot!

Believe the hype
Yes! This really is the best contour powder out there. Bar none. Even though I am pretty light, the medium shade can be blended into a subtle and natural shadow. It applies so easily, blends effortlessly, and the color is perfect (not ashy and not warm, the perfect cool sculpting shade). I love every single think I have tried from Kevyn Aucoin's line, I think he would've been very proud of the beautiful products they are producing.
Good but not perfect
This powder is beautiful. It looks great on the skin, and does not cake up at all. Very subtle. It takes away shine very well, but does not actually keep you matte all that long. I do have to reapply on my T zone a few times during the day. This powder works very well when setting undereye concealer though! As far as it's claims on pores...No. I don't find it blurs my pores at all. But it doesn't enhance texture or dry out my skin, so it's the best powder I own for everyday use. Also, it looks great on camera!
Beware the smell!
I did like this ok. The coverage is light and comfortable, and the color match was pretty good. I'm combination skin, and even though it's a dewy foundation, I was not an oil slick. It took care of uneven skin tone and generally gave me a my-skin-but-better look.
But, it's very thick and hard to blend in with a brush. I felt the best application was with fingers. The packaging is awful! The pump doesn't work well and gets stuck. I used it 3 times and by the 3rd it was hard to pump the product. And lastly, the smell. Oh god, the smell. I really hate that high end brands put fragrance in their foundations, because smell is so personal. And this foundation smells awful to me! It lingers, and it's just such a weird scent, that it made it impossible for me to wear. So, back to Beautylish it went!
