Beautiful brush - superb quality
Beautiful and high quality brush as in ALL of Sonia's brushes. Fairly priced compared to Suqquu which is way more expensive.
Did not fit my Sonia G brushes
Quality of the bag is nice but most of my Sonia G brushes do not fit vertically as intended by the case Just a few cm more and it would've been perfection. I am very surprised because Sonia's attention to details is meticulous. Since I have way too many make up cases I am returning this one, still on the hunt for that perfect travel case for my brushes and makeup, all-in-one.
Does the job, no fragrance.
Based on having tried: Clinque take the day off, Farmacy Green Clean, and DE Slaai , this product does the job for the price. I like the texture better than the Clinique and I think it does a better job at removing make up and being the first cleanse step. I like a little bit of fragrance so the Farmacy Green Clean tops the list with its refreshing smell, this one does not have any fragrance so using it does not make me "look forward to it" as the Green Clean does. Your skin afterwards is ok, not soft like the Green Clean and definitely not like the Drunk Elephant Slaai, that product leaves your skin so soft but it doesn't have a fragrance so that's a bummer for me. This Good Molecules product is fantastic for the price if that is most important to you, go with this.
Absolutely worth every $
Received my set on Friday (released date was Thursday!) excellent service by Beautylish on processing my preorder via text. These brushes are lighter and smaller than the originals, the natural hairs are oh so soft. The handles are exquisite, I absolutely love them. Highly recommend.
Beautifully crafted
This line of brushes is luxurious and the quality matches the price. I don’t think any cons against this brush is about the brush but would have to be about personal preferences, my eyes are small so the “size/width” of the brush is a bit large for me. So personally this brush at about 30% smaller would be my ideal brush. Perhaps I need to create my own line of brushes now! ;)
Lovely formula, natural day time shades/tones
I read many reviews saying this palette was too light. I bought it knowing this because I wanted something natural for an easy day time look. So..it is light but that does not mean lack of pigmentation. I love the formula compared to the other BT 10 pan palette, which I have to use a damp brush to get the same results as this palette. All in all, I am happy with it. I took 1 star off due to a lack of one true matte shade.
Powdery yet very pretty neutrals
The quality of the palette is typical CT but it looks very powdery on my skin. I'm not fair but the colors do show up nicely in a subtle understated way. I need to use MAC Fix+ as a final step which is not an everyday habit for me.
Chunky glitter
I was looking for a medium (not so dark) shade liner. I saw a you tuber raved about a byTerry liner so since this was "New" I thought this was it, I should have checked the description cause I don't think this was it. It has lasting power but the glitter chunks were just too large! I wished it was more "sheeny" and creamy in texture. I guess the name was misleading to me, the word Glaze made me think it would be smooth.
Amazing texture on the skin
WOW... I read a review that this palette was too powdery and is not a must buy. Then I saw another blogger's beautiful pictures of the swatches of this palette and I caved. I am so glad I got it! It is so pretty on the skin. I have dry mature skin, some blush powders accentuates my fine lines but not this powder. It is the most beautiful combination of colors. It is so pigmented that I barely sweep my brush across it to pick up the products thus I did not experience any "powdery" effect. I have experienced hits and misses with this brand but this palette is a big HIT. Get it, you won't be sorry. You will LOVE it.
Nice but not a MUST have
The compact is small so it is travel friendly but on the flip side it is very heavy. The powders are nice in that it's not glittery at all. The contour powder is very similar to the Charlotte Tilburry Filmstar but the highlighter is not in that it has no shimmer. I like it and will use it for when I travel. For the steep price it is not a must have but if you have the $$ why not? It's makeup, it's fun, if it makes you happy, treat yourself! Love Beautylish and their amazing customer service, I returned the Peachy Sculpt for this Beige 200.
