Uncertain
I don't hate this, but I've definitely tried better. I purchased Sandstone, which is a pinkish sort of color. Some of the sparkles in the balm flake off onto your lips, which I'm not crazy about. It looks pretty, but it feels kinda gross. The color is also a lot lighter than I would like, but I should have anticipated that, given that it is a balm. Love the SPF, though. I think I might give this another try, but in another color and finish.
Great for chapped lips
I really love this lip scrub, because it smells like a dessert. It also helps buff away dryness on lips, and comes in a convenient package. I've tried other products that are supposedly similar, but they don't even come close. After I apply this, I rub my lips for about thirty seconds and then wipe off the product. Then I use a smooth lip balm with SPF to hydrate. It's not necessarily what you're supposed to do, but it works best for me. I've had dry lips for awhile now, and this was the only thing that seemed to have an effect on improving the texture of my lips. Highly recommend!
Luminous
This bronzer is very pretty! It blends well, looks great, and even smells nice. The fine grains of the bronzer sift easily through the container, and it blends easily with a big fluffy brush. Furthermore, I am noticing an improvement in my skin's texture. This stuff is surprisingly gentle and seems to soften skin, too. Anyway, great product.
It's a toss up between me and the people I know who've used this product. Some people really hate the scent, for instance, while others like myself think it smells like roses. I can definitely understand what Angela is talking about. I find that this night cream is best for me in the summer, but it's just not hydrating enough for the winter. I can get really dry patches on my face when it's cold out, and this just isn't powerful enough to combat them. However, I find that it brightens the skin with prolonged use, which is nice. Anyway, that's just my take.
Soft and hydrating
This balm goes on smoothly and easily. It also has SPF 15 and the packaging is very ergonomic. The balm itself has a large surface area, which I think conforms to the natural curve of lips better than typical balms. I think it also helps conserve some of the product, because you don't have keep applying it. I got this in Lemon Drop, but I've also tried the stick version in Vanilla Bean and I've loved them both!
Shimmery
I have this in Golden Retriever. It brings out the gold tones in my brown eyes, which I love. It also lasts all day without creasing! There's no need for a primer either, so it's a great time saver. You can also use an eyeshadow brush like you would with a powder shadow, so you don't have to dig your finger into the jar. Freaking awesome product.
Fresh
This is a very fresh scent. It's lasting, but light and perfect for summer! My only reservation is that it has heavier mint overtones in comparison to the jasmine. I really purchased it for the floral aspect, and it was a little difficult for me to notice when I first picked it up. Anyway, still a great fragrance. I recommend the other scents, too. I was told that you can also layer them, which is a nice perk!
Seamless
It's about time Covergirl hopped on the paraben-free train. For $10, this is quite a steal. It covers evenly, has about medium coverage, but feels light like a powder. It's got SPF 10, which is also a plus. 'Flax' also works best for my skin tone, but they actually offer a pretty decent range of colors for a drugstore brand. It does an amazing job for the price you pay, and works just as well as $20 or $30 foundation.
Great as a night cream
This is the most hydrating cream I've ever used. I was starting to get dry patches on my cheeks for some reason, and this got rid of them in one night of use. I'm not even kidding. I was completely shocked. I was also curious about the consistency of this product in comparison to other face creams and this was the thickest, yet it absorbed easily into my skin. A little goes a long way, so even though this is priced at about $40, it lasted me a little over six months. I wouldn't recommend it for day time or for those with oily skin, as I feel it's a little too thick. Also, it doesn't have SPF, which for me is a must during the day.
Minty feel
Yeah, yeah. So it has my name. And yes, that was one of the reasons I bought it. However, the color of this lipgloss is absolutely perfect for me. It has just enough pink in it not to wash me out, but it's a great replacement for a basic nude. I also tend to gravitate towards warmer lip colors, and this has a coppery hue. I wear this when I'm wearing particularly dark eyeshadow, and it provides just the right amount of color. It also smells like cake batter and leaves a nice tingly feeling on your lips, which is always a plus. This was only sold by Sephora, but it has recently been discontinued. I have already purchased a couple of tubes off of e-bay, so unfortunately, that is the only place you can get it now. Each tube cost about two dollars extra, but it's worth it to me!
