Beauty Product Reviews

Nice

This brush is great for the Tarte cheek stains! I find it a little to small to use for foundation, but it is great for blending gel blush onto the apples of my cheeks. I would find it a little two dense for cream blushes though.

I sometimes use this for bronzer as well, great for packing alot of powder product into a small area. I also like to use this for blending out powder blushes.

Beautiful, but some problems

Overall: These are prolly a bit to sticky for some people but I don't mind. They are also pretty sheer, but that doesn't bother me either. The only thing that bothers me is how when the gloss fades away it leaves chunks of glitter behind. I don't know if there is any way to fix that though :/

Color: Beautiful sheer purple with chunks of glitter. I love layering this over a red or rosey lipstick.

Necessary!

I love using this to get a little volume and take the oil out of my hair for second or third day hair :D It adds a white cast to my hair when first applied but it can be rubbed out. Also after I apply this my boyfriend always tells me I smell good :D

The best

Overall: I inherited this from my sister, it is the best beauty tool I own. I would buy it for myself in a heart beat.

Performance: This device changed my hair life. Takes about 5min to straighten my hair with this bad boy! Sleek and shinny, best straightener in the world. Like I said inherited from my sister, so it's going on about 8 years strong.

Makeup stays a little better

Overall: I think it really does help my makeup stay a bit better. For reference I have combination skin, oily on the T-zone and dry everywhere else.

Packaging: Small little spray bottle, doesn't really have the finest mist, but it gets the job done. I haven't had the bottle clog on my yet.

Ok formula, color was a miss

Formula: Goes on smoothly and has a pleasant fruity scent. It lasts as long as normal lipstick, nothing too special.

Color: I heard that this color was a great everyday wearable, but I found it far to purple toned for me. Be aware if purples don't suit you, this color prolly won't either.

Hard to work with

Overall: Such a snore product, so boring. It is hard to get enough product on your brush to even work with. I'm happy I got it as a 500pt perk I would never want to pay for something like this, I wish I returned it anyways.

Packaging: The packaging is terrible for a cream eyeliner, it is not air tight so your eyeliner is domed to dry up to an untimely end.

Color: Not pigmented at all.

Soft

Overall: I found this brush to be super soft, it is pretty small, but nice and dense. It is smaller than the elf duo fiber, but it is more dense and softer.

Use: I love to use it for some cream blushes or pigmented blushes/bronzers. It is to small to use for foundation if that is your thing.

Shocked

Overall: Non-sticky, well pigmented, smooth, moisturizing, but a bit of a funny medicine like smell.

Firecracker-Sheer red-orange, beautiful color that can be used everyday for a bit of a red-orange wash. Great for those with a warmer undertone

Lilac-Pastel-milky pink lilac color. I don't find this suitable for everyday for me at least. It would be great for those who want to add a bit of a cool tone to any lipstick. For that reason it is great for those who have a cooler undertone.

A great formula of lipgloss for any makeup collector

Cheaply made

I all find the elf one dollar brushes I own to be cheaply made, the farrel is lose and can easily be taken off. However I do like the shape and can easily super glue it on. It's just disappointing.

That being said I never have any problems with the studio line, constantly great brushes for only 3 dollars.
