MK-MO but cuter
Not going to lie, I didn't need this brush, but the makie print is way too cute. It's just as I thought, another version of the MK-MO. The hair is incredibly soft and bundled perfectly. If you didn't care for the MK-MO's makie print and you don't mind not having a fancy box, AND you love these little pigs, definitely pick one up if they come back in stock. Way cheaper and way cuter IMO.
Beautiful Budget Friendly High End Japanese Brush Set
First I have to pre-face, Beautylish has the best customer service and shipping of any online retailer I know. My brushes were shipped out on Monday and arrived next day Tuesday to Toronto. And the shipping was FREE!!! Who else does that?! The packaging is beautiful and makes you feel like your an extra special customer, we all are for them. Ok, now onto the brushes.
For the price, this set is great. I own, over 150 brushes, 98% majority Japanese fude from Kumano. The quality of the hair is there. The handles are more light weight than I am used to, but they are still made of wood. The makie design is lovely. Like gold, rose gold and silver on a black background. I own both of the Chikuhodo Noelle collections, Etoile and Neige, and this set is basically just like those, in terms of handle quality and hair quality and the same type pouch.
The most interesting brush is the Powder brush, because it has a unique shape that I don't have in any of my other brushes I own. I have angled brushes, but this one is more of a round angle. The hair is soft and I really like that it has a 50/50 mix of Saikoho goat hair in with the gray squirrel. Makes it more useful for people like me with combination skin than if it was 100% gray squirrel hair that is of course super soft, but more delicate and more sheer in powder application.
The cheek brush is super soft, similar if not the same shape as the famous Suqqu cheek brush, and also the Z4 and the RC-2 and the Kyureido Fine Kalla 002.
The other brushes are also very good quality. The shader brush reminds me of my Suqqu Eye Shadow F brush, almost identical. The Crease brush is my first ever brush shaped like the Chicca brushes. I really found that one a surprise because it actually does work well on the crease.
Again, for the price, this set is really worth it. Are there more expensive brushes from Chikuhodo or other Kumano makers on the market? Of course they are, aesthetically with better handles and ferrules. But the quality of hair is there, and of course the design is lovely. If you weren't lucky to pick up this set, I say, don't hesitate if the opportunity comes again with another collaboration with Beautylish, and or if Chikuhodo comes out with another Noelle set this Christmas. I for one, am super happy to own this.
Absolutely In LOVE
After hearing so many good things about the By Terry line, especially the Rouge Terrybly Lipsticks, I decided to take a plunge, and from a plunge to a leap! This has got to be my favorite lipstic forumla ever. Red Ceremony is the most beautiful red on my skin tone. The lipsticks are (ridiculously) expensive ... and if you're up for a splurge and want to treat yourself, most definately try one. I found them to be moisturizing and hydrating and the darker reds last 4-5 hours on me before I have to re-apply. The bullet is quite weighty and closes with a nice magnetic click.
Beautiful Palette
I love this palette. I received it on Saturday and have worn it the last 3 days. The Taupe color looks like Tom Ford's Platinum on me. It's my favorite color in this palette. The brozne shade is also pulling a bit like Spice when I blend it onto my crease line. I love the black, its very matte and there's no fallout. I think the downside is the quantity of product you get. It's a little over half of her regular palettes, 2.8 grams. I think the Chanel les 4 ombres are only 2 grams, a baked formula as well and those are $61. Personally, I do love this quad. I love the colors and the fact that it includes a matte shadow that's black and also that it contains no glitters. Is it worth the price? I wish it had been a bit less pricey but since its limited edition, I couldn't pass it up.
Tiny, but super cute!
I just received these today in the mail, along with the Fallen Angel Palette, the new lipstick in Confession and the new Makeup Bag .... these are so incredibly cute and tiny. They come with a really nice oxblood colored ribbon that matches all of her packaging. The bullets are engraved. Really nice packaging. Each lipstick is 1g, same size as a TF FWP mini lipstick.
Easy and Natural
I absolutely love this product. I've been using Anastasia's brow pencil and powder for years, and my routine is usually to fill in with a pencil then go over with powder using MAC's 266 angle brush and finally brush out my brows with a spoolie. But I can use this pencil on its own, and it looks so natural, that I don't need powder at all. I also love Chanel's brow pencil, and I've used various MAC pencils and powders for years. Seems to be a more affordable version of the Tom Ford brow sculptor. And I did compare the amount on both. TF is definatly more product when you open them both to capacity. But again, this one is great on its own. The Brooke S is not warm at all which is great. I think the highlight is useful when you are out and about and want to touch up your brow bone or highlight the inner corners of your eyes in a dash. Regardless, for this price point, I really am enjoying this product.
Ultra Creamy and Moisturizing
Wow, I was extremely skeptical about this cream, but after using it for 3 weeks, I have to say, now I understand why so many makeup artists love it. Its a great base for your make up. I rarely use foundation, instead I use loose powder all over my face because I have pretty clear skin. My skin is super oily, and this cream doesn't make it more so. I use benzoyl peroxide face wash and cream, so this balances it out nicely. Certain times of the month my skin will become dry, and this helps me out during those times to make sure it stays soft and supple. You don't need to use too much of this cream, I use very little actually, so it should last A LONG time. I know people are not too happy about the price point, but at the same time, I don't see too many people balking about Tom Ford's Intensive Infusion Moisturizer that contains the same amount and retails for $230. It has a slight scent, and my skin is very sensitive. All my face and eye creams have no fragrance. This cream's slight fragrance didn't bother me in the least. I truly love this cream.

Soft Brush
I bought this CT brush to use with her eyeshadows. The natural hair is listed on another site as a mixture of goat and squirrel hair. At first sight I thought the brush hair would be a bit scratchy, but that isn't the case. It's soft. No irritation on my eyes or lower lash line. I've used it exactly how CT uses it on her tutorials and the brush does what its supposed to. I really like the handle, but thought the ferrule was a bit bulky at the top for the amount of brush hair. No shedding and I've used the brush for 3 weeks now.
Incredibly soft
This has to be my favorite CT brush. It was surprisingly incredibly soft. Another website has the hair listed as a mix of goat and squirrel hair. If you see my CT blush brush review, you'll see that I listed what I believe to be the OEM for this line as a da vinci brush. They have a website in english as well as a youtube page that you can see how the brushes are made. I've used this brush consistently for 3 weeks already, and liked it so much I bought another one. The second brush shed a hair, but that's about it. I recommend this if you like blending brushes. Its really a pretty brush, but I think what surprised me most was the softness of the natural hair. It applies product and blends it extremely well.
