It's ok
I was so excited when I heard about these. I actually didn't see them on tv but on a video of a beauty guru on YouTube. I loved the concept and I was super excited to play with the memory foam like the texture. I have very pale skin so I always go for a very light pink blush so that I can build it up and not have to blend like crazy because it irritates my skin. I love the color that I chose it's a nice light buildable pink that wakes my skin up. Most blushes make I look like I'm flushed because of high temperatures but this didn't. Which I'm happy about. The memory foam texture I really liked too but it made it hard to pick the color up onto the brush. But I even kinda liked that too because it was kinda like a built in portion control. Lol it wore for quite a long time as well. what I'm very disappointed in was that the foam texture did not last long at all. Mine has turned into a mushy, creamy blob that goes everywhere when I run my brush over it. Which i expected but hoped to be wrong about. Ither then that I do like the product.
The best moisturizer I've ever had
I have some major issues with my skin on my cheeks where I have issues with my rosacea. So rosacea causes redness and some stubborn acne in the places affected by it. So because of this condition I need to be very careful on what moisturizers I use. So I turned to aveeno because I know they have good and gentle products. This moisturizer is amazing! It really helped even out the redness on my cheeks. They're still a little red but no where near as bad as usual. It also did not irritate it like my last one did. It also took away all of my dry areas unlike others I've tried. There is sparkles in the product but I really liked that. After I apply my foundation it makes my skin look vibrant and almost flawless. The product does have a scent but I found it very pleasant. It has a light baby powder like scent that goes away once you rub the moisturizer in. The scent isn't overpowering at all which is great.
That was true for a while. However my skin got used to the moisturizer and I had to find another one. I recently tried this moisturizer again and within a week my skin was dry and flaking. It was good while it lasted, but I can't use it any longer.
I like it
I bought the one in the orange tube. It's called cherry me and it has a bright red color to it. When I applied it to my lips the red was pretty sheer though which I was pleased about. I have very pigmented lips so that may have made the color seem more opaque than it actually is. It doesn't really wear for a long time. After about a half hour on my lips I noticed that it had really sunk into my lips. The color was still there but I wasn't getting the moisture that I needed. I love that this product has SPF 20 on it because I am easily burnt and I find that my lips get burnt frequently as well. Which makes it very uncomfortable to wear any type of makeup near or on them. :( but I wore this to the pool yesterday and I did have to apply very frequently to make sure that I had enough to protect. I was there for about 5 hours and my lips aren't damaged in any way. I'm 100% satisfied with this product.
I love it!!
I bought this a few weeks ago and this has not left my purse since then. The color is gorgeous on my pale skin. The one that I have ( Berry smoothie) is very pigmented. It still has the texture of a lip balm. They're very moisturizing too which need because I have a bad habit of licking and biting my lips whenever I'm thinking or nervous. I'm going to the store tomorrow and getting creme brûlée. Hopefully it's there his time. The display is almost always close to empty.
Wasn't what I expected
When I first saw the ads in the stores for this I was so excited. From the pictures in the ads the shadow looked as if it had a souffle texture. Whenever I bought audacious asphalt and pomegranate punk I was severely disappointed. The texture feels like a dried up cream eyeshadow. It claims to be able to be applied flawlessly with your finger but for me that wasn't true. I had to use a brush and blend like crazy. The color audacious asphalt is gorgeous though. It's a blue-gray color with lots of silver sparkle. Pomegranate punk on the other hand is supposed to be a deep red but whenever I apply to my eyes it's a brownish color with silver sparkle. It's still pretty but not what I was expecting. For the wear time it lasted quite a while. My lids get a little oily in the summer so it hasn't worn as long as I think it will in the winter. Since my lids are a little more oily than normal it did crease after about 4 hours. Everytime I've used these it was over a primer.
Waste of money
I bought these in hopes that these would be a good shadow base... They are not. They made my shadows crease almost immediately after my makeup was done. It looked terrible. I tried them as a liner too on my lashline and they smeared within 2 minutes and i had to redo my makeup. another thing i noticed with these is that they like to stain your eyes too. I do not reccommend these at all. Go for something else if you want a cream shadow as a base.
A permanent part of my makeup collection
I tend to go through phases when buying makeup. For a while it's lipgloss, then eyeshadow, then blush, and so on and so forth. lol Lately i've been on a HUGE lip gloss kick. I bought about 5 or 6 of these from my avon representative and i love every single one. The colors are very opaque but you can easily sheer them down if you put a little on the center of your lips and blend them out with you ring finger. You can also build up to a color that you like that way also. I wore a berry colored one all day and it stayed all day. It didnt bleed or anything. The only time i had to touch up my lips was after i ate. That is the only thing that really takes these off. well besides actually wiping these off. lol Another thing that i really loved about these is that even though it's really shiny and creamy you can't really tell that you're wearing a lipgloss. It doesn't have that sort of sticky thick feeling on your lips like some glosses do. I would definitely reccommend these to anyone.
will never buy it again
I heard so many people brag about this scrub. People with many different skin types and all that. lol well when i used it the scrub did not prevent blemishes infact it caused them. My skin was really clear and then i used this one night and bam the next day my skin was a total wreck. I had to use a ton of concealer.
hated it
I started using this in the 8th grade. it was the first foundation i had ever used... it sucks. It looks like you put a crap ton of make up on no matter how much you use. If there was any dry patches on my skin the makeup would latch onto it and make it look worse. i couldnt find a color that matched my skin at all. I had to blend this foundation all the way down to the top of my cleavage to try to make it look a little more natural and the foundation did not stay on all day at all. even if the makeup was set with powder. it just did nothing good. The only thing that i liked was it had good coverage. also dont use the brush it comes with it irritates the skin.
