Beauty Product Reviews
Nice product, terrible smell.
This product really improved the texture of my skin and cleared my pores. But I hate the smell, it smells like peppers. The smell goes away pretty quickly but it annoys me so much I am sometimes reluctant to apply the product. I see that Tasmanian pepper berry extract is an ingredient, I'm not sure if that is where the smell comes from. I wish they would make this in a less smelly version.
Worst Mascara I've Tried in Ages
I was really excited about this product. I love the brand and the name and the packaging looks nice. To start, I have long, moderately thick, dark brown, stick-straight lashes. This did nothing. It didn't define and separate, it didn't add volume. It didn't help hold a curl. It didn't even noticeably dark my lashes. Sadly, all it did was take up space in my makeup storage. After a few uses I gave it to a friend to try. She hated it too. I've tried $3 mascaras that have done more for me than this.
Light and Hydrating Perfection
I just got this oil a few days ago. My skin was ravaged by the cold Wisconsin winter and my tretinoin cream. My whole face hurt. I quit using the tretinoin for now and added this oil to my routine and after just a couple of uses my skin is hydrated, glowy, and comfortable again.
Beautiful Brush
I received my brush yesterday. The handle is long, so this brush is quite large. The bristles are super soft. I only used mine for bronzer so far, but I think this would work for a variety of uses. Natural hair brushes aren't meant to be washed as often. I can see this brush lasting a good long time since Wayne's brushes are made very well, this is no exception.
Perfect
This brush set is really all you need. The brushes are such great multi-taskers they are perfect for daily use and for travel. I can't do my makeup without Wayne Goss' brushes anymore.
Please bring it back!
It's a great brush for blush and highlight. Please bring it back as permanent so I can get some more, I would like another 2-3 of these so I can switch colors more often without washing so much.
The Only Shadows.
I have all of these palettes except 2 (I am missing the Pearl Brights and the Sultry Muse) and they are all amazing. The neutral palette and Paris Nudes are great for every day wear to the office. But once in awhile I want to wear something fun and bright, the Editorial Brights and Bridal palette are awesome for that. Viseart makes the most amazing matte shadows, the non-mates are gorgeous too!
How about a G10?
I got this in two shades N10 and G20. G20 is too dark and N10 is too pink. The product itself is really neat. I like to mix it with my serum on lazy days and then just too it with a bit of light powder foundation. I wouldn't recommend using it alone unless you have really normal skin texture, since it's pure pigment it doesn't really moisturize or help with oily skin. When I used it alone it broke down on my t-zone within a couple hours and then flaked off on my dry areas. The joy of combination skin!
Gorgeous colors
The Beautiful embossing on the shadows is a nice touch. If you don't typically wear bright colors this might be a nice palette for you, they aren't extremely pigmented where you would have to worry about it, but give a pop of color to any sophisticated makeup look without going overboard. I'm not afraid of brights so I was a little disappointed in the color payoff personally.
Beautiful
These were almost too pretty to use. I was hesitant to buy them due to the price but they are nice. They aren't as pigmented as Viseart, but they blend beautifully and this will be a terrific everyday neutral palette.
