Good product, but not as good as I was lead to believe

This eyeliner pencil has a wonderful, rich color that is easy to apply. However, I feel a little mislead by the "perfect, smudge-proof, crease-proof, water-proof transfer resistant finish" guarantee, as it did almost all of those things when I wore it. I thought it could have been because I have an oily skin type during certain seasons, but it also happened to my grandmother, who uses the same brand pencil; and I don't believe we have the same skin type. Good product, but not for me (or my grandma)...
