One of the WORST!

L'Oreal mascaras are usually top-notch. Their Voluminous has been a favorite for many years so naturally, I couldn't wait to try their newest. With a name like "Million Lashes" and it's shiny gold tube - I had high expectations for this product. Boy, was I disappointed! It has an unpleasant and over-powering smell, which I found odd, particularly for eye make-up. The brush is rather puny and even after three carefully applied coats, I had wet, clumpy lashes which stuck together - with absolutely no definition whatsoever. It dried like glue and proceeded to flake off and irritate my eyes. It went directly into the trash - which is where it belongs. :(

Very Impressive!

Finding the perfect eyeliner can be a challenge - especially for those who have oily eyelids - most "long-wearing" products last less than two hours on my lids. I am always on the look-out for the latest waterproof liner. When I saw Maybelline's new Eye Studio Lasting Drama Eyeliner, I was especially intrigued by the gel formula and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did - as I found it to be quite impressive. It was easy to apply, non-irritating and had amazing staying power. This one is a keeper!

Excellent Drug Store Mascara

I am rather picky when it comes to mascara and have found many drug store products to be disappointing. CG LashBlast Fusion is definitely an improvement over the original LashBlast. I love the huge brush and soft rubber bristles, (which I believe play a big part in creating lush lashes.) Just two coats of this mascara and I have big, thick, clump-free eyelashes that really stand out. The only caveat is that after a few hours, it begins to flake - and by the end of the day, my eyes look and feel pretty irritated.
