hi Emily. I find the Nuance & Urban Decay foundation to be similar in both texture & finish I wouldn't call it an exact dupe, but when I first tried Urban Decay Naked Skin I couldn't think of any other foundation to compare it to, this one comes close and its a large price difference so as long as the shade matches for you I think its worth a try. hourglass mineral veil is my HG too. I would not say the Nuance primer is similar in texture at all, but I think its an excellent primer still. the texture is like if Smashbox & Laura Mercier primer had a baby it had that silicone feel but is a little bit more creamy while Hourglass is a thinner formula. both work great and if money were an issue I would buy the Nuance but Hourglass is still the best I've I've tried. the texture can't be beat
