An excellent waterproof pencil which does not budge, smudge or moe whatsoever. I only have it in one color, turquoise, simply because I rarely use eye pencils and this one does not disappoint. As the name says, this is a metallic pencil. It does contain a small amount of tiny shimmer, but it's mostly just metallic. It's very pigmented and soft as well, up to the point that it's hard to sharpen it because it often breaks due to its softness (that's why i reduced my rating by half a star). However, once applied it stays put until removed. It takes a few seconds before it dries and sets. I find it works excellent when worn alone or over a primer. It looks particularly interesting with red lipstick. For the price, (7€) this is definitely worth buying.
This is quite an affordable concealer (around 8€ for 10 ml) which I find works best for the under-eye area. I bought a shade which is slightly lighter than my skintone (52 instead of 53) and it not only covers the circles under my eyes but also brightens the whole area. It's not drying in the least, but also not hydrating as Bourjois claims it to be. If your skin is dry by nature, you will need a good moisturizer under this. I have no such issues during the warmer half of the year, but as the winter approaches, I find it clings to the dry patches under my eyes and accentuates them. It does crease slightly, but I have yet to find an under-eye concealer which doesn't. As the previous revieweres have stated, it looks natural, but still covers nicely. However, do not expect a miracle when it comes to very strong redness, such as red pimples because it simply does not cover that much. All in all, I think this is a good value-for-money product.
This is a very nice hydrating mask, good for the winter months when the skin looses moisture due to cold weather. I find it works best when I apply it in a somewhat thicker layer than I would an ordinary hydratig cream and then leave it overnight. It absorbs in 5-10 minutes, but leaves a slightly sticky film, which doesn't bother me. In the morning, I wake up with well hydrated and smooth skin. I took one star off because it tends to be insufficiently hydrating in extremely harsh weather.
It helps my foundation stay on longer and keeps me matte, depending on the weather and temperature. When it's not too humid or hot outside, my skin is shine free for 5-6 hours, which is amazing because my face tends to be quite oily and it normally takes and hour or 2 before a matte liquid foundation begins to look dewy on me (but not the pretty kind of dewy).
This is an excellent product, but I usually only use it as a top coat. Whenever i use a polish which proves to be problematic (i.e. chips easily), i put 3-Way Glaze over it and it helps the polish stay on a lot longer. It doesn't really do much as a base coat for me, I've tried using it like that with the same problematic polishes, but it didn't prolongate their wear. As a top coat, however, it has not let me down.
This treatment was not bad, but I still didn't get the results I was hoping for. When i bought it, my skin was going through a problematic period, being not only oily, but also acne-prone (due to hormonal imbalance). The official website describers Effaclar Duo as quite powerful and I decided it just might be the thing for me. However, I found that it did not decongest my pores as well as I had hoped. And believe me, my expectations were not too high. I am well aware that skincare is not almighty and that it can only work so far, but I had very few results with this treatment. I'm guessing there was just not enough salicylic acid in it to help my skin. However, I would recommend it to those who do not have big areas of concern and who are not prone to big break outs. It's not a bad treatment, but simply not a very powerful one.
An excellent makeup remover, which is both effective and gentle. It didn't dry out my skin and I even felt like it moisturized a bit. It removes every last bit of makeup, not only on my face, but eyes and lips as well. Although it was extremely efficient and easy and pleasent to use (it has a faint floral scents which is fresh, but far from overwhelming), I ran out of it very fast. It lasted around 6 weeks, maybe less and for the price (around $20), I simply decided to give other cleansers a chance. If I could afford buying a new one that often, I would definitely repurchase it time and time again. (And I generally love micellar solutions, they do not dry my skin out like gels and do not feel greasy like most milk cleansers, and are very easy to use)
I was really not impressed with this moisturizer. It mattifies for a short while (my skin is very oily), but after an hour or two, the oilines is back again. It did not moisturize, and I didn't notice any improvements in the texture of my skin. It's not bad for summer because it is very light and non greasy but for those who need results, this simply does not deliver.
I love love love this palette! When it first arrived in the mail and I swatched the colors on my hand, I was not particularly impressed simply because they were not as beautiful as I had hoped. However, when I started using it on my eyes, I realized how versatile and wearable all the shades are. There are so many looks that can be created with the palette, the top row is even great for brows (the middle and the darkest color), there are shades that can be used alone or in any number of combinations. The textures are excellent and all colors are so pigmented and soft, it's amazing. I love this so much I can't get the Neutral Palette out of my head and want that one too!
I had this mascara a few years ago and liked it so I decided to buy it again. The effect it gives me is wonderful (I have long curled lashes which lack volume) - it volumizes them without clumping. I find the formula to be on the drier side, which is ideal for my lashes because such mascaras separate my lashes well and do not stick them together. However, it was slightly irritating, but nothing too bad and this sensation lasted only a few minutes. The main complaint I have is that it smudges under my eyes. Now, I only use it for my top lashes (I use a waterproof one for my lower lashes and it has never smudged) and it still manages to smear my lower lid, even when the weather is neither hot nor humid (and I do not apply a greasy cream under my eyes, just a concealer which is also not greasy). This is the only reason I will not repurchase this mascara.
