Not impressed

Did we get a bad batch? As the previous recent review, I am shocked at this brush. It stabs my eyes to the point of cringing. I have a coastal scents brush that is softer. I do not have sensitive eyes. I can and do use many cheap brushes but I prefer my higher end. I like to use a paddle brush for not only packing on color to the lid but also making a sharp clean outer v. I cannot do that with this brush. It can feel like needles hitting my eye if I press a little too hard. The first time it happened I thought I somehow got something in my brush that was sharp or gritty. But no. It's the brush. I am hoping that it will get softer over time but a break in period should not apply to this quality of brushes. Quality control issues? I don't know. I own several other Wayne Goss brushes that I am completely satisfied with that I purchased at the same time. But this one makes me weary to buy more from this brand.
