Beauty Product Reviews

Adorable packaging

I bought this for the liquid lipstick, but the eyeshadow palette is much nicer than anticipated. The colors could be used as blushes and highlighters too. Sugarpill is always super cute. I am glad I was able to get this.

One of the best liquid lipsticks on the market

I've been using Jeffrey Star velour lipsticks for a long time and have collected most of them. This box set was an awesome addition. Love the design incorporating Jeffree's tattoos. The liquid lipsticks are fantastic. They cover in one coat, dry fast, and don't budge. They don't dry out the lips.

Really gorgeous colors and superb pigmentation

I don't think I can add much to what has already been said about the quality of these eyeshadows. I wanted this purple blue palette from the first time I saw it, but really had some anxiety about the price. Thank you Beautylish for payment options that allowed me to fit this into my makeup budget. Several reviews compared this to Urban Decay Vice palettes, but the Natasha Denona has larger pans, set close together. There's no wasted space in the case. IMO, the eyeshadow is much creamier and more pigmented than UD. I thought they had way less fallout too. I have had no problems blending, and the colors were still vibrant after all day wear. I am old, so I have crepey eyelids. I did have some minor creasing, but that is normal for me, especially with shimmers and foils. I love the foils! I hope to get more of Natasha's line in the future.

Long lasting good match for salt and pepper hair

I was using brow wiz, which I love, but having issues with it fading. I stopped dying my hair and let it go gray. So I was looking for something with staying power that would also compliment the new mix of dark, silver, white in my hair. I never used powder before so I was worried I would make a mess of it. I also purchased the stencils. I love how my brows look. Actually much better than my freehand with the brow wiz. They stay all day and so far I haven't noticed any smudging or fading.

Finally, a fair foundation I like

I have probably tried every foundation from drugstore to high end looking for something super fair without SPF and full coverage. I am allergic to chemical SPF and sometimes my skin doesn't like titanium dioxide either. I also have dry skin. The first shade is very light and can be used as a highlighter or mixed with the second color to match my skin tone. The second and third colors work well to cover dark spots. I sometimes use the darker shades to contour, but I think they will be good in the summer when I get slightly less ghost like. It is a small palette, but very pigmented. I've had it for six months and just hit pan (slight pin hole) on the first two shades. I wish they would make the KA shades in individual pans. I apply with my fingers as body heat makes it very easy to spread and then buff with a brush. I would recommend this to anyone who has dry skin.

I cannot live without this

Hippie jokes aside, I fell in love with this oil upon first whiff. I love earthy, wood, musk type perfumes, so this oil is perfect. I use it primarily as a body oil and have not tried it on my face. I use the squalane oil. I have dry skin and the oil absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. The aroma lasts a long time. The 4 oz bottle is a generous size. I use it daily and still have 1/2 bottle after 6 months.

Does what is says

I haven't tried this with glitter, but it works very well with shimmery/glittery eye shadows, which tend to have fallout. I apply it directly to my lid with a small brush and then follow with shadow. No fallout and the shadow color lasts until removed.

Paw Palette very handy

I was always mixing my foundation and primers on the back of my hand, which is messy. So as soon as I saw this I knew I had to give it a try. Really easy to use and clean. Better than my hand.

Noob tries gel eyeliner, film at 11

I've been a eyeliner pencil user from back when you had to soften your Maybelline with a match. I never had much skill with liquid, but thought I would try the pot 'o gel. So, I ordered this brush to help with my experiment. The results? I like it. The brush is firm enough for my unsteady hand to draw a line, thin or thick. Yet it gives enough, so I'm not poking my eye out. It makes using the gel very easy. Thanks!
