Beauty Product Reviews

I decided to try this lipstain a few months ago. If you want a bit of color, but without the heaviness of a lipstick, this is a good option. I don't agree that this will last for hours, but retouching is something you should expect with any cosmetic product.

If you have just begun to play with the idea of a smokey eye, this is a great way to start. These quads are very inexpensive ($4-$6), and tell you where to put each color. The pigmentation is pretty decent, but would be much more intense with a good primer.

Don't do it.

Proactiv is not good for your skin. When first using it, you will probably notice a difference, but your skin gets used to it way too quickly, which in the end, will give you a result that you won't be happy with. There are so many great acne products available to people. If you have a problem with acne, go to a local spa, ask them which products you should be using on your skin, and they will be able to recommend to you something that will work out a lot better.

I'm not a girl that likes, or really needs a lot of coverage, so I like to stick to the loose powder. Like the description states, it is really silky, and goes on very nicely. Youngblood makes a shade for everyone, from very light to very dark, and everything in between. I'm very happy with this powder, and most Youngblood cosmetics in general.

Not a fan. A friend of mine had the Grape one, so I figured I'd give it a try. The polish does smell like it says, but not for long. After a few hours, and a few hand washes, it starts to lose it's scent, which is expected. The consistency of the polish is very watery, and it took me about 4 coats to start to get a color that I could live with. After all of the work that went into polishing my nails with this, it started to chip within the first 24 hours. MISS.

I own a couple of these polishes, and I think they're pretty okay. The polish does dry fairly quickly, and I do like the colors. I like this collection much better than the Hard As Nails collection, and if I were to buy polish from a drug store, I would choose this line over any other. With a good topcoat, the polish stays for a few days before chipping, but I would ultimately pick a brand like OPI over Sally Hansen.

I could take it or leave it. The colors are really great, and pretty vibrant, but I'm not a big fan of the way the polish goes on, or how well it stays on. It seems as though by the end of the first day, the chipping has started. I think this polish would work better for someone who likes to polish their nails pretty frequently.

This is by far my favorite leave-in. My hair doesn't always want to cooperate with me, but this product makes it much more manageable. It also smells fantastic. This miracle leave-in is relatively inexpensive, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I've experimented with the Black, Teal, and Pink Crackle polishes, and was really not impressed. It definitely crackled, but not in the way I hoped it would. It might be because I like my nails to be more on the simple end of things, but I thought the effect looked pretty sloppy overall.

This UD setting spray works really well. It will keep your makeup looking as though you just applied it. If you have an important event, such as a wedding, this is a must. It also works great for very humid days, when your makeup likes to smudge on you.
