Grreat for contouring too!
With all the buzz about Chalotte Tilbury's line, I had to see what the buzz was about. Known widely as a top makeup artist, Ms. Tilbury has been "in the biz" for many years. Her Magic Cream sold out within days of her stateside launch.
The product I decided to try as my gateway to her line was her Air Brush Flawless Finish Powder (available on her website http://www.charlottetilbury.com/us/... and better department stores for $45 - I purchased mine from Beautylish). I purchased the product in "3 Dark" for the cross-purpose of using it as a non-bronzing contouring powder.
Air Brush Flawless Finish Powder contains rose wax and almond oil which hydrate the skin. The powder is also formulated to reflect light - which is extremely flattering to any skin.
The packaging for this powder is luxe; the gold casing speaks to luxury. The release for the case is easy to operate - even with long fingernails. The inside mirror is quite ample.
Using my own contour brush, I found the powder easy to pick up on the brush bristles. The powder did not flake or dust. Applying the powder as contour was easy as the powder is quite forgiving. A light touch was all that was necessary to create a perfect contour base since the powder blended seamlessly. Very little powder was necessary to create a flawless finish.
Wear for this powder under comfortable weather conditions (70's) was all day without any signs of wear or fading.
Because of it's packaging, ease of use, high quality, and length of wear, I would consider this a smart girl's best buy. I certainly will be going back and purchasing her lighter shade for my full face use.
