These are everything I like in a liquid lipstick! I have a couple of the brighter shades, and they are super opaque in one layer and don't look patchy at all, which also means that I don't have to try to layer the lipstick too thickly making it uncomfortable to wear. They dry really really quickly and are totally transfer-proof, they feel powdery soft and light on the lips and I get a lot of compliments when I wear them, Ion in particular. I also appreciate the standard doe-foot shape of the applicator, I still like to go back in with a lip brush to make the edges extra sharp, but I can still get a really nice application with just the wand. One of my top formulas of liquid lipstick, for sure!
This review is for both the holder and the refill in some ways, since they work together. The refills will not twist up without the holder and I'm not really sure what I would do with the holder without a refill, but together they make a really nice brow pencil! The twist mechanism is smooth and very easy to turn, and the pencil is slim but with a bit of weight to it, it feels really sturdy. The transition from matte to shiny iridescent finish on the pencil is gorgeous, and also gives it just enough color to be able to find it in my makeup bag easily.
I was a bit confused at first because the pencil doesn't have a lid exactly, the refill fits into the top of the holder and then there isn't another piece that covers the pencil portion, you just retract the lead down into the pencil until you're ready to use it again. What looks like a lid in the photos is just the section where the holder twists. Even without a lid, though, mine hasn't dried out or changed texture at all, the lead still draws on powdery soft. It stays fairly powdery and I find it really easy to blend and soften with the spoolie brush on the other end, I usually fade and soften the fronts of my brows this way. I've been using Brunette and it is a really nice light brown that isn't too warm but isn't too grey either, it's a really flattering shade for those of us in the light to medium-brunette range. I definitely plan on buying more refills!
This is my go-to facial sunscreen, I love that it's a lightweight texture that blends in easily, is purely mineral sunscreen, and has the added blue light protection. I appreciate that this is designed to be used alongside another moisturizer, so I can still use my favorites and it doesn't feel greasy or heavy or sticky, which is a must for my combination-oily skin. I spend a big portion of my day in front of computers, so I'm really glad that Farmacy is ahead of the curve in including blue light protection. I'm picky about sunscreen and this is the one I recommend all the time.
While I do hope they come out with a higher SPF formula, according to the American Cancer Society SPF 30 still filters out 97% of UV rays whereas SPF 50 filters out 98%, which is only a 1% difference. Once I realized that, I was ready to fully embrace Green Screen as my go-to.
Best Mineral Sunscreen for Body
I love the very light texture of this sunscreen lotion, especially for the body. The generous size also means that I don't have to worry that I'm gonna run out after just a few uses. The nozzle applicator is also small so I can easily control how much product to dispense. When I used it on my face I noticed it remained slightly tacky on my combination-oily skin, but never so much that it broke me out. It felt great on my arms and legs, though, where it sank into my skin quickly and didn't leave any white cast at all.
I love this gentle cleanser, it's very simple but does what it says: cleans! It's not stripping at all but doesn't leave any residue or tackiness either. It says it's for dry skin but I love it for my combination-oily skin too. It foams easily to a nice soft lather and rinses easily, and also works nicely with my cleansing brush. Another great product from Farmacy!
Perfect Product for Air Drying
I am usually a very low-maintenance hair person, so my daily routine for air drying my long slightly frizzy hair is to just spray this primer spray in while it's wet or damp and comb through. I definitely notice a difference if I skip this step. It lightly detangles and moisturizes, and make my hair much more manageable. I used to use Prep and Tonic interchangeably, but have made the switch to the Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer because the added oil really helps to add a little more taming and softness but isn't heavy at all. This is a must-have for me!
I love this product! It smells delicious and lemon-y, and leaves my skin looking bright and luminous. I tend to think of it more as a treatment than a mask exactly since you don't leave it on very long, only about a minute overall. I love the bubble sensation, almost a bit like pop rocks, tingly but not painful at all. It takes a few pumps to get a thick layer all over and then it bubbles and turns into foam like magic. Then when you rub it in, you can tell it's exfoliating and getting rid of dirt and oil because it balls up and you can rinse it all away!
This is such an enjoyable mask to use and I love that you can give your skin some extra care even when you're short on time. Plus, my skin looks gorgeous afterwards!
I really like this product, I've been looking to add Vital Proteins into my routine and this is my favorite formula from the brand. It takes a bit of extra stirring to totally mix in (using a milk frother mixes it quickly and easily though!), and it's not exactly like a traditional creamer, but I find that it does make my morning brewed coffee creamy and tasty (I still add extra sugar because I like it sweet). I also love having the extra protein in the morning and that it's already lactose-free, which is a must for me. I've tried the Vanilla and the Coconut and while I like both, the coconut is the one I like the best.
Great Moisture Cream for Oilier Skins
I have combination-oily skin, and I love how this product does moisturize without being dewy or heavy, but does actually feel moisturizing. Also, unlike many mattifying moisturizers, it doesn't feel too silicone-y like I used primer instead of moisturizer. It has a beautiful gel-creme consistency that glides on and sinks in, and I do feel that I'm not as oily throughout the day.
The scent for all the Caudalie products I've tried is light and pleasant, and I believe the texture is really unique for this product. This is my go-to moisture for winter when I need to add a bit of moisture but still control extra oil.
I love the thick gel-texture of this mask, it felt cooling and soothing on my skin. The blue backing sheets on either side of the mask do take a little extra time to grab and remove, and I haven't found it any easier to try to take them both off before applying the mask, or take one off, apply and try to grab the other one off the front. Either way, once you have it on, I love that the gel actually sticks to my face! It's one of the few sheet masks that I don't feel like I have to lay down while it's on to keep it from sliding down my face. I also appreciated that the eye holes were cut wide enough for my face shape, sometimes I have to cut them open wider on other masks.
As for the essence, it was nice and lightly hydrating and I definitely felt glowy and brightened afterwards. I will definitely be buying more of these!
