Pardon me while I gush about a brush holder

For the record, I am not any sort of makeup brush connoisseur or collector. My bathroom has limited exposed shelf space (no medicine cabinet) and storage, and I was getting tired of knocking stuff over every time I fished for a brush jammed into old candle jars. I needed something that would be slim enough to fit my shelf, store all of my brushes in one place, and look nice. I saw the Sonia G. Brush Holder when it debuted on Beautylish but balked because, ahem, the price tag. But I liked the look of it and couldn’t find anything comparable shopping elsewhere, so when it was restocked, I took the plunge. I told myself I'd return it if I found one fault, no matter how small or petty. Nope. It easily fits all of my brushes--I have about 30 total from different brands, Sonia G.'s among them--and the movable interior slats keep them organized and upright. Speaking of fit, the size of the brush holder is compact yet sturdy, and not prone to tipping over easily. The suede-like lining on the bottom interior treats your brushes like jewels, lol, which I could take or leave but it is nice to have. The materials and overall construction are top-notch, the kind of quality that feels thought through and elegant, and turns an ordinary object into something heirloom-worthy. I smile every time I see it.
