I'm Old AF. The Beauty Industry Ignores My Demographic. But This Palette is a Must Have!

Yeah. I'm a foundation junkie. Teetering on the edge of 65, I NEED foundation. Sure. It's not gonna get rid of my wrinkles--only a great plastic surgeon can remendy that but I'm poor AF so I need to work with what I have. With aging comes changes in skin. Texture. Coloring. Lines. Uneven skintone. Gravity. You name it. It happens. But that doesn't mean we need to give up on ourselves. On the contrary. It helps to sleuth for that perfect product. The RMCA foundations pretty-much come into that category. Read on please... I ordered the KA palette. My skin is fair with pink undertones. I have redness but not necessarily rosaeca. Over the years my skintone has become uneven. There's an age spot or two--okay, THREE but who's counting. I got the jowls. I got the wrinkles. And yet, that doesn't stop me from still trying to look my best. The palette was intriguiging to me due to the choice of hues for my skin. I love a creamy foundation and quite frankly, a good one is difficult to track down. So I went ahead and ordered. This palette has proved to be greatess. At first, it seemed like I would most likely hit pan within a few days. That wasn't the case. A little bit of any one of the foundations in this palette goes a long way. I find it works really well with this application: Applying Embroylisse as a primer. Then a layer of Luxe Houile in the shimmer to give that extra bit of moisturizing and a bit of a dewy sheen. After giving it a few moments to soak in, I apply the RCMA foundation with a Real Techniques 01413 brush (at 3.99 it is the best blending brush ever). I stiple it on then blend in a circular motion. Then pat a damp-to-almost-dry blending brush over the foundation. Trust me, on a wrinkled old-lady face, this is epic. My only complaint is that I wish cosmetics companies would recognize the mature woman. We depend on this stuff to make us look better. To make our skin look more youthful. More hydrated. It's sad that we are ignored but trust me, this is great, great foundation!

No need to "Brows" for Another Brush!

This brush is greatness. I've had it for a few years now and it hasn't shed at all. The application part of the brush gives me a great line and the other end of the brush really does a great job in blending. I'm 63 and my brows were lost somewhere between the beginning and the end of menopause so it really is a necessity to have a great brow brush. I use this with my Anastasia Dipbrow. An excellent brush! Thank you for reading and have a great day!!

The Only Brow Product I Use

I have no idea how many years I've been using Dipbrow--sometime during menopause when my eyebrows changed from lush caterpillars to sparse little flecks of hair. Ugh. No worries though because Dipbrow is the greatest brow product ever! It's a pomade which stays on far longer than any powder. My shade of choice is ebony--and yet, it doesn't look harsh. I soften it up by brushing with a brow brush after I apply it. And a little goes a long, ong way, I've had my current little jar for over two years and just recently hit pan on it. I've got another one as a backup. And for the price of $18.00 this is an absolute steal. It doesn't smudge and it stays put. This is great stuff1

Whoever Said The Mature Woman Shouldn't Use Shimmer Is a Moron!

So much has been said about what the "mature" woman should and shouldn't do as far as cosmetics are concerned--and it's funny because my demographic of over 50 and 60 are basically ignored by the beauty industry. Anyway, this. This shimmery highlighter has me (as my gurl Jeffree would say) SHOOK!! I love everything about Sarcophagus Skin Frost. It is a soft but compact powder. The neutral shade is so perfect on my skin--whether or not I'm fake tanned! I'll brush some on my shoulders for a nice luminous effect and during the day, I'll lightly brush on my cheekbones and along my nose in the most subtle way so that when the light hits, my skin glows. After reading reviews I was concerned that this would arrive in a broken mess, but I have to say, it arrived picture-perfect and intact. Beautylish did a fantastic job of packaging this very securely. In addition, you get a nice amount of product in this compact. It'll last for a long time. I'm very happy with this--honestly, if you are of my demographic, do not allow anyone to tell you what makeup you should or shouldn't wear. Makeup is ageless and this is a gorgeous product. Thank you for reading and have a great day!!
