So, for reference, I have sensitive skin prone to hormonal acne. I use this as my first cleanse and follow with Sum:37 cleansing stick as second cleanse. I have tried several cult favorite cleansing balms and my skin didn't like any them, always broke me out(I suspect it was the mineral oil). This, however, is love. I would best describe the texture as a sherbet not really a balm as there is a bit of grit to it... think nuxe reve de miel lip balm sort of grit, so not at all abrasive and they do kind of melt away as you massage the product into the skin. It gets rid of all my makeup, had no problem with it stinging my eyes either. I like this so much, I'm having trouble to convince myself to try the CEO cleasing oil I bought at the same time.
