Beautiful

I finally pulled the trigger to purchase this piece. The brush holder I received looks just like the picture. It is a medium brown and the carving is very distinguishable. I’ve been looking at this for a while- I don’t have the other brush holder- and I’m glad I finally bought it. It is a beautiful piece of art.

Greasy greasy and greasy

I’ve been using oil cleansers for years. DHC is my go to, but I’ve used others that were okay. I received this product in my Lucky Bag a year ago. It left my face, hands, and sink a greasy mess and was hard to get off. I thought I’d use it in the shower this past winter to help with dry skin on my body. Big mistake-I’d forgotten how greasy it was and nearly slipped in the shower. I had to scrub the shower floor to get rid of the oil slick. It went in the trash.

Beautiful colors, top quality

I ordered the entire set since the ones I wanted were already gone, and knew I could gift my daughter and daughter in law with the ones I knew I wouldn’t wear. The lipsticks are beautiful. They’re creamy, glide on like a dream, and I don’t mind the slight minty flavor at all. My only issue was that several were damaged due to heat. They’re useable so I’m not fretting, and that has nothing to do with the product. I typically won’t buy lipsticks in spring or summer because it’s happened before. I guess FOMO got the best of me. At any rate, the quality of the lipsticks are great. The cases are simple, yet classy and chic. I hope Wayne is able to continue his work and present us with more products in the future!

Soothing

I absolutely love these. I’m glad I finally purchased them. I stare at a computer all day-well not for long since I’m being furloughed in a couple of weeks thanks to global events-and it’s so nice to put these on and lay my head back and close my eyes for 15-20 minutes after the workday is over. Very relaxing, and we can all do with a bit of that right now. And the price is QUITE NICE.

Now THIS Is wonderful! I received a sample spray in an order from Beautylish, and just loved it. I typically don’t wear florals, but the warmth achieved in the dry down makes this so beautiful. Actually, to be honest, it’s beautiful from beginning to end. If you love a more sensual floral, this is the one.

Too masculine for my liking

This hasn’t turned out to be my favorite Jo Malone cologne. It’s not terrible, but it does smell quite masculine to me right after I put it on. Once it dries down, it’s a bit more feminine and doesn’t bother me as much. It must be my body chemistry.

Sooooo SOFT!

Aside from being a beautiful brush to add to my collection, this is the softest brush I own! I have a drugstore brush I’ve been using for setting powder, and it makes my face itch like crazy because the synthetic bristles are coarse and scratchy. This one is the complete opposite. This brush is soft as silk and a true pleasure to use. The handle is beautifully decorated, as is the case for all special offering Chikuhodo brushes. There are only a few brands of brushes I will splurge on-Wayne Goss, Sonia G, and the yearly Beautylish Chikuhodos.

And true to Sonia Gs quality, they work like a dream. So soft and precise, blend so well, and they feel good in the hand. They’re true workhorses. I have mature, hooded eyes and these are the perfect companions to her original eye set. Love my Sonia G!

Soft as a bunny

I’m not gonna lie-I bought these because of the theme. Fun and festive, just like the 60s & 70s 😉. I should have known that the brushes would not only be cute, but so SO soft and beautifully functional! As always Beautylish packaged them with care-loved the wrapping paper BTW (I save it all because it’s so unique)-and delivered them quickly. The travel case is a nice bonus and the brushes have individual protectors as well. As far as design, these are my favorite brushes, eclipsed only by the blue Beautylish/Chikuhodo collab from a few months ago. These put the ‘fun’ in functional!

Everything in perfect order

Well I was too late-I wanted the palette and 2 mirrors-first the website was crashed, and then every time I’d try to check out, the product would magically disappear. All that aside, I bit the bullet and ordered the whole darn thing. It arrived just a few days later, everything double and triple paper and bubble wrapped, and entirely padded, as is Beautylish’s custom. Everything inside was perfect. In fact, now I’m not sure that I want to give any of it up even though I really didn’t want the highlighters and mini lips 🤔🤔🤔
