Beauty Product Reviews

Great for Dry Skin!

I've tried A LOT of foundations. My skin is very dry, and most foundations make my skin look cakey, especially in my dry spots.

This is the first foundation I've tried that actually makes my skin look better instead of worse. It doesn't cake on my dry patches.

The coverage is light to medium, which is great. I don't like heavy coverage.

My only complaint is that the name of the product claims it is "illuminating," which I've not found to be true. It looks glowy going on, but once it dries down, the finish is natural. I don't usually need to powder this, but if I do, this foundation can look almost matte.

Overall a great product for my skin type. Would buy again!

Doesn't Live Up to Hype

I was excited to try this affordable intro to Viseart shadows, but honestly this palette was a huge letdown and I will be returning it.

PROS Creamy Pigmented Blends Well

CONS Colors become easily muddled when blended Both matte and shimmer shades dull considerably when blended Shimmer shades crease like crazy within two hours of wear The glitter shadow is not creamy and is difficult to apply

I gave this palette a fair chance. I used it for a week straight, and changed up how I was applying eye primer, which eye primer, how I was blending, which shades I used together - anything and everything to get a different result - but it was the same sad story every time.

The mattes blend like a dream, but the don't hold onto their color. Instead, they become a muddled blob of what-color-even-is-that? It ends up looking very dull. The shimmers are very bright and pigmented UNTIL you blend them, and if you don't blend them, just wait an hour or two. They fade and crease almost immediately.

Even with a low price point, I can't keep this palette. I would never use it.
