Drying and aging...
I have normal skin with fine lines under my eyes and found this to be too dry, accentuating my fine lines and making me look older. I do use eye cream so I’m appropriately hydrated. I tried a tiny bit Of the corrector and I tried layering it but couldn’t get it to look good. Returned!
I like it but...
...I thought it was going to be softer. And it does shed every so often. Having said that, its become my go-to blush brush. I even use it as my highlighter brush, too, since I like putting highlighter on my cheeks. I just imagine its potential and how amazing it could be if it were softer.
Can't part with it.
Well, I was having some buyer's remorse and thought I would return the brush...till I used it. This brush picks up shadow so well that I haven't had to foil any shadows since I got it, something I would do every time with my usual synthetic packer brush. The size is not very large and fits within my average-sized, hooded eyes just fine. See pics for size comparison. :)
Absolute best spoolie ever!
Wow, I saw this brush and had to have it for my full natural eyebrows. Nothing has ever brushed through my brows like this. It's soft yet form. It's so fast to shape my brows before setting them. Its become a HG brush faster than any other brush I own. Here it is pictured for size comparison (sorry about the cat fur) ☺️.
Diffuses color beautifully
This brush is so soft...but I had to order it twice because the first one was scratchy. I'm glad I tried again, though, because it's my favorite for transition shade. This brush blends out shadow so softly and creates beautiful blown out looks. I prefer it to Sonia G's Blender Pro, which is soft but a lot firmer. Because of this brush, I bought the WG 4 and I want to get the 16 for comparison too. I'm addicted, I know! :)
Never knew I needed this!
I first noticed this brush when I was shopping for a blush brush. I realized it would be too small and opted for the Wayne Goss 14. But I kept thinking about this brush so I finally bought it. Oh wow! This brush is soft but still picks up product so nicely. It makes for a fast and amazing one shadow application, which I never knew I liked but now I just want to do those quick looks all the time. I don't, but I would with this brush! :) its large but not too large for my average-sized, hooded eyes. For comparison it's pictured here with the Wayne Goss 3, Sonia G Blender Pro, Sonia G Crease Pro, Sonia G Pencil Pro, and Smith Large Arrohead packer brush.
Soooooo soft!
I went thru a luxe brush purchasing phase where I wanted to replace my less expensive brushes with higher end brushes. I ended up buying the MK2 mostly because of the design on the handle. The brush is so beautiful and the quality makes it a standout. I have no brush softer than this. Granted the only other squirrel brush I have is a Wayne Goss #3 but my MK2 is even softer than that one. The brush feels wonderful to use and deposits the perfect amount of loose powder on my middle-aged skin. Wow is it pricey, but it's well worth it.
