Beauty Product Reviews
Really love this pallette. I do have to work with the lighter blue shades though. They kind of all just blend together or blend off. But you can pack them on. The ocean ice shade everyone loved was awful though i cant use it at all. The peachy ones kind of arent there but that might be my skin color? I wish the baby pink was more pigmented. I. Am able to make a lot of solid looks with it though. Theres only one dry type shade and its the dark grey blue one.
I really go for this palette a lot though.
Really blurring.
The powder really does blur fantastically. Its very pretty and smooth. My problem is that it will cast a sort of grey over my skin and after about an hour it comes all the way off. Also it eill leave super dry flecks on my skin after a little while too.
I only wear it when i have just gotten out of the shower and my skin is super moisturized.
I have tried it on all my family and it makes my husbands skin look amazing and my daughters. It just doesnt stay on that long on them either.
The scent is so freaking good too. But its just not sonething i can wear every day and paired with certain foundations like the ordinary and wet n wild it would rub off the concealer and foundation on my nose.
Any time i tried to use it over concealer on my nose it showed my pores. Idk if thats just my skin though.
Ehh nothing special
I usually like JStar products but. This one really was just too drying. Its not THAT full coverage either. My dark circles show through and i have to use another concealer to cover it. I have been using it as an eye primer though because it does dry down very dry. It also dries very fast. And a little goes a long way but if you put too much on it gets weird and super dry on me. I really wanted to like it and thats why i took so long to review but every time i wear it i look old and weathered.
It really doesnt cover anything up on me either. Which is okay with my freckles but any darkness or redness shows through.
Beautiful, great formula
I love love that this includes drug lord!! Anyways, I love all the shade so far. They are all very pigmented and don't need more than one dip except for Icy Tray it was a little see through and it's not as sparkly as I thought it would be but I'm super glad of that.
Titanic has purple and blue glitter in it and Its not gritty at all.
I did notice that most the shades took longer to dry down than my equality bundle and the two regular shades I own. So they were dry but not all the way but it still wasn't transferring so that's awesome in my book. The shades icebreaker and blue velvet did dry down quicker and were more dry than the others.
There is a scent to blue velvet and abused, it's supposed to be rootbeer but it smells like licorice to me.
The box they all come in is super sturdy and beautiful and soft with foam for the lipsticks to be protected and sit in. The only problem I have with the mini lip bundle boxes is that they are a soft matte super sturdy cardboard so fingerprints always cover and stain the boxes. Or if you have oil or something that you cant see on your hands it will end up all over the box. I try to wipe my hands before touching them but I always end up ruining them lol
Really great. Some minor issues though
I have 4 JSC palettes now and this one is the best when it comes to the quality of the shades. Even better than blood sugar which some shades were really drying and patchy in blood sugar. Anyways, there is one shade called Undertaker that is a bit dry and patchy but it still blended really well. Ocean Ice is super weird for me, like it's super chunky with a jelly like feel to it even though it's dry. When blended out it sort of looks like a dark blue with some sparkle to it. Not super metallic looking like I hoped it would. But it's still beautiful just not what I expected.
The shades Blue Monday and Flourishing are not what I saw in videos and pictures. It could be that the lighting in those were making them look different or there were filters. They are still pretty colors just Blue Monday is purple not electric blue and Flourishing reminds me of a medical doctor or nurse scrubs teal. I hope that made sense. It's just more of a green than a blue and I don't really like it and I don't think either flow with the color scheme. But it did blend really well and it looks prettier blended.
One other thing I noticed is that the shades crystal flesh, ice tray, and entitled are not sitting evenly in the palette. Like its just the pan isnt glued very evenly. One side is up higher than the other. So it looks like it's going to pop out of the palette. Which might be why some people are getting broken ones. I don't think it was a shipping thing, just that they were not glued right on some palettes, I've seen broken ones come from the morphe store as well. But that's just my guess from looking at my palette that is not broken. Overall would 10/10 purchase again I love it. I just wanted to share some things I don't really mind that some people might want to consider.
All in all I'm glad I bought the set together because I probably would have missed out on the palette. I always have awesome service with beautylish and they came within 3 days of ordering and it was free shipping. Also got a free Becca sample.
Really the best I've gotten from Jeffree Star Cosmetics so far in quality and formula wise. The unit carton is a super soft cardboard that's beautiful blue but kind of flimsy unlike the cartons for thirsty or bloodsugar. The unit itself is very sturdy it's a nice weight not super heavy and not super light. The outside is super smooth with the words and filigree carved in. The clasp does feel a bit cheap but I'm guessing it's because its a blue plastic not metal like blood sugar was. The mirror is amazing as well. I didn't have trouble opening mine, it opened rather easily. It smells like feux leather on the inside and eyeshadow lol
Really great product and worth the money id say. I cant attach a photo because my camera is broke but when it's fixed I will so I can show the pan offset I noticed.
Beautiful, best JSC quality wise
I just want to say that I've been ordering from beautylish for almost a year now and if you receive a broken item they will send you a shipping label and you can return it and get another for free, and you can also get refunded if you don't want to exchange. I saw a comment saying that they're not helping or doing anything and they won't return it and that's just not true. Beautylish has amazing customer service and they know how to treat their customers. So I wanted to make that known on my review so someone doesn't think badly of them from that one review that was not telling the truth.

Onto the Blue Blooded liquid lipstick bundle. All the colors are beautiful and are very pigmented. The only one that I had to use more than one swipe or dip was Ice Tray, it's a beautiful color though just kind of light. These ones didn't seem to dry down as fast as the others I have from this brand. Which was weird for me, they didn't transfer but still felt not all the way dry, except Jawbreaker, drug lord, and blue velvet those ones were more drying.

Love it
I have a hard time with brows and I've been trying to find the right match for me. I received this as a free sample and I love it. I can make my brows darker or lighter. If it's too dark all I have to do is just smudge it with a beauty blender sponge and it lightens it. I like to apply a setting spray before using it because it makes it glide on easier and it helps with wiping away any mistakes. I have dark red brown hair and it matched pretty good.
A no for me
It oxidized and left me with patches of skin showing through. It left me flaky and weird in other spots too. It didn't dry down very well at all it turned me orange even though I got the cool toned. It's lightweight and it's a sheer coverage which is okay. But it didn't spread very well or blend that good. I only got a mini so I'm not too worried about returning but I would if it was a full size. It just didn't do well on my skin at all.
