Beauty Product Reviews
A beautiful set alone or to complement other Goss brushes.
I have all of the Goss brushes because I think they're beautifully made, but even more importantly, because most makeup brushes, even if high quality, feel like rubbing sandpaper across my skin as it's quite sensitive to touch.
I was so excited to see a new set come out, and that it's something so different. No one makes brushes like this that are so unique and precise. I have a lot of makeup and love playing with it, but still struggle with some of the artistic & technical aspects of it. I just can't get a lot of the techniques and looks I see to look good on me. I really appreciate the precision and flexibility these give and am so excited to continue using them.
If one thing could be better, I just wish they had come in the cardboard cylinder like the previous sets. It's not a dealbreaker by any means though.
Nailed it!
When I watched the reveal video I was hoping Jeffree would surprise me saying he noticed there was a hole in the market when it came to fair olive skin, but he floored me when he actually did!
The formula of this is amazing, it's smooth moist and easily blendable, but it's also not oily. It gives you time to get it blended out perfectly, then stays there where you left it with minimal creasing even under eyes or in fine lines.
For me the most amazing part is shade C6, the first truly olive undertoned makeup for fair/light skin I've ever found. For me concealer has always been difficult and just concealing problem areas hasn't been possible, since there was literally no shade that matched me in any brand. I would always have to wear foundation and match the concealer to it, then blend far down my neck so it didn't look like a mask. This is absolutely incredible. I actually bought C6, C8 and C0 so I could adjust and lighten it if necessary, but there was no need. C8 matches closer with my foundation colour but C6 is perfect on bare skin.
I am so thrilled with this formula and colour and couldn't thank them enough for making it!
