practical palette for full-face. NOT travel size

i bought this on black friday thinking it was travel size. I did not look at measurements - oops. anyway, it's the same size as the Viseart matte that I got two black fridays prior, and is therefore not a great stand-in for it in my travel bag, but it is great for a different reason: the shimmer and the taupe shades are exceptional highlight/bronzer/contour shades as well.

i'm 35 and have pretty good skin, no eyelid laxity, no fine lines, so all eyeshadows perform fine on me, but I still appreciate the delicacy and impact of this palette. Not worth it for $50 imo but a steal at $25. i hope to use it for decades :)

okay, not the z10

a solid brush with very soft bristles, but i don't think i need something quite like this on my 30sth eyes (cheap brushes do fine).

my favorite brush

i learned how to do eyeshadow properly with this brush. it's the one i travel with and my favorite. somehow i lost it and i immediately came back for another, only to find out it's $9 cheaper than 4 years ago. this never happens (my favorite foundation is now over $100, horrifyingly??) - take chikuhodo up on it

Industry leader for a reason.

I had been using Garnier micellar water before - for the last 5 years, at the rate I used it - and was so excited to switch to Bioderma next. At the price per ml, you really can't go wrong with an upgrade to the OG that folks have been raving about forever, and I will add my voice to the chorus: this product is fantastic. I put it on Swisspers cotton pads and put them on top of my eyes or wipe my face.

One of my pet peeves with large "squeeze" bottles is that they're a little more cumbersome to turn over/dispense when full. This limited edition with pump solved that problem handily and is such a great form factor of packaging. Don't sleep on this.

Excellent foundation.

I bought 213 from Beautylish on a whim. I'm not sure I am keeping this bottle because it turns out to be slightly greener than I am - but I'm so impressed by its feel and blendability and finish that I plan to buy a sample set from KGD directly to try out other colors and confirm whether I would like them better.

It's expensive, but otherwise an instant holy grail: it absolutely wears like a dream on my combination/dry skin, giving me a brilliantly skin-like finish and managing oil that comes up later in the day.

Excellent highlight, but worth $42... maybe?

I love Hourglass products and this highlighting stick didn't disappoint. It performs exactly as it should, providing a shimmery reflect without glitter or chunkiness, blending easily and beautifully, and lasting pretty well all day. One tube is a lot of product. If you have no highlighters but plan to use this every day, it's a good investment. If not, I wouldn't spend $42 on a cream product, which will expire within the year.

Best brush I own. Considering buying another.

I bought the Z10 on a whim, my first natural hair brush, and I'm honestly shook - it's absolutely stunning. It picks up shadows elegantly, blends wonderfully, never scratches or tugs, and cleans easily with a color switch. It's a perfect weight, much like a pencil.

I'm so glad that I read the Beautylish reviews and picked this brush first. I'm planning on picking up Z11 and Z5 to add to my Chikuhodo eye collection, but I honestly may have to get a second Z10 first - it's that good.
