Beauty Product Reviews

Regret.

I knew that he was problematic, but I bought this anyway because I thought “oh it can’t be that bad.” I was wrong, and since purchasing it I’ve felt disgusted with all the controversy not talked about in the Shane Dawson series. It will be the only product I own from this brand, and I could never stomach promoting it in good conscience— regardless of the quality. (Yes, I’m aware they accept returns but I’ve already disposed of the packaging— c’est la vie.)

Game Changer.

I decided to at least give this brush a try, and had the return label ready to print until I actually used it.

I have small hooded eyes, with very limited lid space so I was looking for a shader brush I could use for packing that was flat, but not too rectangular so as to maintain precision without forfeiting colour payoff or blendability.

The ones I’ve owned until now have been just a touch too stiff, and leave a lot to be blended.

Using this brush, I get a nice saturated pay off whilst effortlessly being able to blend out the edges, minimizing my tool usage/routine time. That’s the kind of product I like investing in, so I find this brand worth it.

It’s completely feasible to own a cruelty free brand whilst using natural hair— so I don’t doubt the claims otherwise I wouldn’t have purchased, but it would be nice to be able to see the farming resources for further peace of mind.

For my taste, I’d only need one other brush— the 16– which I’ve just ordered, for my daily routine. It’ll be interesting to see which crease brushes get replaced once that arrives! I included a photo with my already well loved 18, with the 5 shaders it out performs!
