The colour scheme is odd

OKAY... I am fully aware that these shades were the extras that didn't fit into the Conspiracy palette. I do really love each and every one of these shades singularly. However, to mix them together to create something other than a plain neutral, plain blue, plain purple, or plain red look, is highly difficult.

There is also a lot of fallout. I noticed it mostly with My Apology. Guess the name is suitable for that specific reason 🤷‍♀️ lol. Some colours are a little patchy, and some don't blend the best. Wetting my brush with setting spray helped with the application of the shimmers.

So, as someone who bought this as an alternative because:

1) I couldn't afford the Conspiracy Palette when it launched

2) Conspiracy sold out once I "could" afford it

3) saw this wasn't sold out

I gotta say, since the colours are so so so different from the Conspiracy, it is not a comparable alternative. I love Shane and Jeffree so much. But I was expecting less fallout, more pigment with some colours, and easily blendable colours.

Overall, if you've got creativity and fierce makeup skills, you could make this work. If you're a rookie, I personally wouldn't recommend this (unless you are just a fan wanting to collect or something).

I had higher expectations

So... it blends beautifully. It applies great. It "seems" pretty opaque! But once I packed my translucent powder on then dusted away the excess, I rubbed some of the concealer away with the bristles of my brush... I guess I wish it was a bit more longer lasting and heavier coverage.

Unexpectedly love this

So this came up as a suggestion while checking out. I said why not since I don't have one right now.. Welp, this is better than any other beauty blender I've used.

This works wonders

It does what it's supposed to do and leaves a matte yet soft finish. I just wish the pan part was different.. bigger.

Burns the eyes lol

So I am fully aware setting spray is essentially scented water with alcohol. The alcohol really burns your eyes if you open them too quickly after applying. Even if it's just the mist floating in the air that gets in your eye. Buuurns . On top of that, I think I do see a difference, however, it's not an amazing difference.

It's a gift

I've used this in the past. This time it's a Christmas gift. Love it!

It is hard to clean up if you mess up, but that's to be expected.

Not my colour

This is definitely more vibrant than I was expecting. I guess I was expecting a more nude pink than a bright peachy pink. It is still beautiful. Just gonna be difficult to work with!
