Beauty Product Reviews
NOPE
I was super excited to get this new highlight from ND in my recent order but as soon as I tried it I was let down. I thought the light-medium would be perfect for my skin tone but its not deep enough and looks almost grey on my skin. I will try it one more time when I have a fresh face of makeup on but based off my initial impression, I will probably return it.
Wet Lids Made Easy
This is my best purchase ever from Beautylish. I’m in love with this and the nude shade. Highly recommend. I️ use them on my YouTube channel. Search “brittglow”. Super easy glistening kids and they do not crease on me which is HUGE.
It's OKKKK...
I really wanted this to blow me away esp because of the price point. I have to say this hasn't done MUCH but I will finish off the bottle and see how I feel. It is doing something just not as much as I would like. I use a 20% glycolic cream every night so my skin has a very high tolerance to it built up. Other things I have from The Ordinary I love love love.
Not your average highlight
This powder (I have satin and porcelain) is not your average metallic glitter fest product. It's a beautiful lit from within beam of light that is perfect for textured skin or anyone who doesn't need to be seen from Mars. It's beautiful!!
FAB!
I really like this mascara. I bought it last year and have used it off and on for the last 9-10 months. Even though I have others in my "daily" makeup collection, I still come back to this mascara at least a few times a month. The best part is you can really layer this on and not worry about it being too wet and make your lashes stick together!
Perfect!
I have this is Medium & Light. I bought the medium initially based off Natasha's Instagram - models with my olive skin tone were all wearing this shade. What I do now is mix a little of this with my bronzer and then use the light shimmer powder as the actual highlight - works perfectly!
YESSSSS
I was at a point in time where I was 100% over and done with highlighters that make you look WET. In 2015 highlighters went completely overboard and it seemed like looking like you have melted tin foil on your face was all of a sudden cool?! Not for me. This is unlike any product I own to date. I wouldn't call it "natural" but it's also an "adult" highlight. It also layers nicely so if I do feel like adding a little more, I know it will still look stunning!
Happy!
I have this in coffee & black. It's a great eyeliner - I use it on my lid and my water line without issues. When I have it in the water line, it will get in the inner corner but TBH 98% of liners do the same thing. Even a cake liner will move some, that's just how it is. This liner is soft enough to not hurt but firm enough to not feel like you're working with liquid.
LOVE
I was surprised by this priming balm. The fact that it's green it actually helps me because my lips are very pigmented. If I want to wear a nude liner and lipstick, this creates a bare canvas for the nude to actually pop. The smell/taste reminds me of those pastel chocolate mints that you see at Christmas time. It's a good one, will probably be a repurchase for me!
