Beauty Product Reviews

Makes a Difference

Been using these products for 6 weeks now, and at 34 I wasn’t sure I’d see any results. But I stuck with it. I exfoliate twice a week, and use the serums and oils religiously. I’ve seen a drastic improvement in the pores on my nose specifically- less blackheads, in fact they are almost gone. Lines on my forehead and my elevens seem much less noticeable as well. I also started using a scraper and jade roller, and sometimes I add IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream if I need some extra moisture. The bottles are huge, except for the squalane and the overnight oil. Skin is overall brighter and tighter. I’d say, if you’re in your 30’s and can’t quite find a regiment that works for you—give this product a try.

Great Alternative to Biossance

Love this product. I use 7-8 drops at night on my face/neck as overnight moisture. In the mornings I use 3-5 drops as a base under makeup. My skin loves it-- it has definitely helped even out my combination skin. I've been trying different moisture options since I turned 30 (and if you are now in your thirties, you get this) and went through 2 rounds of the biossance samples. Biossance has a slightly thicker texture and the rose oil gives a really nice scent. The Ordinary has no scent at all, which I prefer for sensitive skin (although I had no issue with Biossance). The bottom line is I can't tell a difference in results between The Ordinary Squalane and Biossance Squalane, and The Ordinary is definitely more affordable. Hope this review helps any other girls on a budget who want the squalane glow--you can definitely get it with The Ordinary!
